Here's the thing about this team....

100%. 100%.

Well said.
The team discipline looks better.
Haven't seen the really bad penalties on defense especially...
The targeting bs is not included..the entire targeting concept and officiating must be addressed.

Offensively, the big improvement is turnovers...none to this point, and situational awareness. The OL seems to put a lot of people at the point of attack, not unlike the NIU team against ND...

Rourke has played at a very high level, and #2 was exciting to watch in the little he played.

All just an opinion..

LOL, two high school teams and a flailing former Pac-10 team. We are the greatest team in college football. Classic Loosier fans.

If you'd left off being a troll, you could have had a reasonable point. We've experienced (primarily in basketball) the fools-gold of looking like world-beaters against a weaker opponent, followed by a collapse when faced with a real team. Many here voiced this prior to the UCLA game. UCLA was supposed to be that real team. Maybe they were not. Time will tell.

Must be pretty gloom and doom over on the Purdue boards after getting beat like an FCS team by a very average Notre Dame team.

Come on over and join the fun on the boards of a team that has some actual promise.

I oddly have a memory of Chappell coming in for a play against northwestern while Kellen Lewis was being tended to in like 2007. One play, one pass, one pick 6 lol. He got a lot better the following few years.

Without that play we likely beat NW handily and Austin starr never gets to be the hero against Purdue.
