Wow, you must be really popular with the kids; they all seem to be celebrating for you! It’s my birthday and I can guarantee you that nobody ever forgets it.
Or could it be WITH me?Wow, you must be really popular with the kids; they all seem to be celebrating for you!
It's 4/20 for everybody, not just the kids!Or could it be WITH me?
For sure. And still no hummers. It's 4/20 for everybody, not just the kids!
Bummer, just checked the map and they've been seen around southern and central IN since late March (aren't you in Nashville or Indy?)! Get some fresh nectar in your feeders and I bet you'll see one this weekend. I think my first ones (saw my first around 4/1) were transitory and migrating north still, but I'm now starting to see them returning and starting to perch and even scuffle at the feeder, so I have some permanent ones now I believe. Saw the first female yesterday. Also finally starting to get some goldfinches back at my feeder this year. They were mobbing it last year until I had to take it down for that bird disease and they never really returned after that. Still not mobbing it like before, but I often have 2-3 coming at a time. For sure. And still no hummers.
Yep a couple miles outside of Nashville. We’re hoping to get some this weekend as it will be warm. This is about the time we usually get them. Hopefully one of these days I’ll be able to post the difference from one year to the next how things changed after the A-hole timbered the land next to our house. 28 feeders to 2 last year. But still no goldfinches either and they usually start showing up about the same time.Bummer, just checked the map and they've been seen around southern and central IN since late March (aren't you in Nashville or Indy?)!
