I was pulling for North Huntington to win their Regional game last night. They had a good year.

Actually, other than Mgbako, Woody could have his core nucleus with Rice, Carlyle and Reneau back next year. That’s a great start and if Tucker develops he’ll have 4 starters returning. Portal diving won’t be challenging.
As long as Woody is our coach we should want him to go to the portal. Get proven guys. Fits his system much more. I mean Myles, Kanaan and Ballo are unreal gets. Need to give woody credit here. We are a legit top 25 team. Floor is pretty high this year.

Hmm so far has hit 7-17 threes in 3 games averaging 14 and 8 as freshman. In contrast Mgbako who has been great this season as a freshman his first three games 19 points 1-9 from three and for the season averaged 12.2 4 .1 rebounds and shot 33 percent from three. There not the same players Liam will be one and done and is way better shooter at this point then Mgbako as a freshman. So Woodson screwed us by letting this great shooter get away could you imagine him and Mgbako on this team wow..

His point was that there is redundancy on this years team. I don’t think anyone will argue that Liam isn’t having a better start than Mack last year. However, the comparison that matters is how they compare this year. Mgbako is averaging 22 and 8 and shooting percentages are 70+, 60+, and 90. Could we use Liam? Sure. Yet we have a player performing better so we will be fine. I’m not a woody apologist. I’m just an IU fan that refuses to give up on the season regardless of my feelings on the coach.
Well Mack is 7-11 so far Einstein. Averaging more points a game and shooting a better % from deep.
What he did last year is irrelevant because Liam would be playing with him this year. If you don’t think they are very close to the same style player, and don’t see how it would have been a clog to have them together. Can’t help ya maybe switch to watching rowing.
