Guns and stuff

You just about have to with that round if you spend any time shooting it.

The biggest lie you'll tell yourself is "If I start reloading, I'll save a ton of money." You just shoot more.
Agreed. I started so I could customize loads for my .308 and for my Garand since it's not recommended using commercial loads without and adjustable gas plug.

Sounds like you load your own?
I do not. Just pay for the Hornady Match. Pretty salty but not as bad as .50.
My SIL and I put identical rifles together.
Ruger Precision Rifle in .338 Lapua,
Vortex Viper PST II 5x25x50 FFP
Atlas bipod.
Kestrel ballistic calculator.
I bought two boxes of Federal 300 gr. Match but haven't shot them yet.

Too funny. I started reloading shortly after getting a Garand from the CMP. It's a crazy light load compared to my other 30-06 recipes
Wife and I drove down to the Anniston store and made a long weekend trip out of it, that was back in 2009. Good I went when I did, ended up with a service grade for $495 and got some surplus ammo.

Toured the Shiloh Battlefield on the way. She got 2 nights in Nashville, her first time there.
