My first choice would be Fife, though he would likely view this as being a lateral move. 
The guy that once complained that Butler hired a "film guy" as their coach?
fwiw - the "film guy" in question was Brad Stevens..
He does have some things going for him...
1. Indiana Guy (High School & College)
2. Grad Assistant for Bob Knight (at TT)
3. Assistant Coach for Boy Wonder, Brandon Miller, and Chris Holtmann
4. B1G (assistant) coaching experience
Still...I'd rather have Fife.

Mike Lewis gets an open door from every high school coach and administrator who's been in Indiana for more than a month.
His grandfather - father, grandfather and great grandfather were all Indiana high school coaches - was Gene Cato, Commissioner of the IHSAA. What Crean did not get - the support of high school coaches - Lewis brings along in his pocket.
Who is a high school D-1 prospect's closest advisor? Parents, we hope, then his high school coach. One word from his coach -" you don't want to play in that system (for that guy, etc.), young man" - and its over.
