Seems strange while in the playoffs. But I guess the portal closes before the playoffs end.
They'll be his equal to pluck from .I hate this. Has to be some sort of distinction at a time everyone needs to be focused on a common goal. And it sure seems like he’d be in line for a significant playing time increase for next year. Even though we’ve been a huge beneficiary this year, the portal and NIL both suck.
It makes sense to me, at least how I understand all this to work. Unless an NIL deal can, or does, say something about not transferring, all players can basically become unrestricted free agents every season.Green was the fastest runner in the RB room. This doesn't make sense on its face.
No way. Green was much better than Martin from what I saw. I thought Green looked better than Lawton, a lot of times.Only thing I can figure is Khobie Martin must be in line to be the #2 or 3 next year plus I’m getting the notion the kid from UAB is headed our way too.
Sooo…didn’t want to be in the 4-spot again???
Out of curiosity, what access do you have that gave you a view of Martin? No way. Green was much better than Martin from what I saw. I thought Green looked better than Lawton, a lot of times.

I wonder if it was playing time, not enough money given to him, or something else. I agree those fresh running backs ready to play the fourth quarter seemed to really help us.Green was the fastest runner in the RB room. This doesn't make sense on its face.
Well now, no choice in the matter certainly influences conjecture. Whispers amplify volume to a dull roar, my momma always used to say. Yes, she did.Word I've gotten is that it wasn't his choice, but I don't know the reasons why behind it.
It’s too bad. Green, out of all of our RBs, hit the hole quicker than any back we had including Lawton and Ellison. He had game speed that was a level above the others. Even in the UCLA game, the announcers talked about Green just being on a different level as far as burst. I had him tabbed as our starting guy next year. It’s a loss. We’ll get someone and I trust Cignetti to find the right guy. Hell, the kid that blew up this year at Arizona State (Skattebo) was at the FCS level for 2 years. Now he’s a 1st team All-American. There are kids everywhere.Word I've gotten is that it wasn't his choice, but I don't know the reasons why behind it.
I'd love to know if he's gone already or still practicing? Surely someone knows the answer to that simple question and could help us out around here.
