Hope they can keep it up! Last season they were good, but seemed to give up runs at the wrong time.

There's no question that the pitching staff is a strength of the team..

and the hitting appears to be coming around with the start of conference play beginning this weekend. However, unlike last year, this team will be one that will have to manufacture runs. At least, that's been pretty much it so far.

I agree with you. That is what makes baseball.


so interesting. However, I believe a team that can manufacture runs can go further than a team that depends on the long ball.
