Today is exactly why some people want to see at least one tough non-con game. We're 4-0, but we just don't know how good we really are, and won't until next week, because we just haven't really played anyone.
On the other hand, if not for the cupcakes, we might not be 4-0...
I figured we'd win 5 games this year, but that was because I thought we'd drop either the WKU or Wake game. We didn't. So I'd like to say I smell a bowl now, but honestly, I could see our only B1G win coming against Purdue.
Then again, up until the last five or ten minutes, we genuinely looked like a legit football team. If we can play like that for a whole game, week in and week out, we might sneak out 2 or 3, maybe even 4 conference wins.
Long story short, I have no firm point to make right now. Next week, we'll find out if this team is for real or not.
