Why is Clark Kellogg, an ex-Ohio State basketball player, calling the Indiana at OSU game today?

I hate when they use ex-players as color commentators on games that their alma maters are playing in (former O$U QB Kirk Herbstreit calling the Football Championship game, for example)....that goes for Dan Dakich as well for IU.

Kellogg already admitted that he attended O$U's November practice, has called Matta "Thad" while calling Crean "Tom Crean" during the gsme, attended the O$U championship game and gathering yesterday, etc., etc.....he is just way too invested in O$U to be impartial, in my opinion.

So? Who cares, he's overall fair and unbiased in his assessments..

I don't have a problem with it. Its not like he is screaming like an OSU homer

I was just telling my son earlier today Clark Kellogg is the

most objective analyst on television.

I like him, just not calling Ohio State games

He tries to be unbiased but there's still a lot of things that show that he's a proud former player from that program.

We've been on national tv including espn more than Iowa, Illinois,

Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdump and Michigan combined (not official) yet IU fans still complain.

Because he's arguably THE best analyst in college basketball

...add to that, he's as well-liked as any of them that has ever done it.

Add to that, he's very impartial, very positive, on top of being extremely knowledgeable.

Other than those reasons, you are right, he's completely unqualified.
