I hope a reporter asks him tough questions like “how do you explain this performance?” Can’t clap or LEO your way out of that question.
Leo is a nice thing but it has nothing to do with winning football games. Today was pretty much rock bottom. How can it get worse?
Or we could join the ACC, which ND knew would be an easy touch and virtually guarantee five easy wins each season. That wouldn't work if ND was in the east division of the B1G.
This effort against Rutgers was horrible as there was no fire to the team. It is clear that IU lacks leadership that can continue to fight hard despite facing failure. Contrary to earlier, even the defense now seems to have lost their zest for the game after so many games of poor offense putting the defense in a bad spot.
This inept offense, that even struggles with hand offs, that committed 6 turn-overs should spell the end of this offense and require a new OC to decide on who coaches and what IU offense runs next season.

I commend your student body. 2-7 and they showed up. Even found a way to entertain themselves and stayed. Our student body(Rutgers) wouldn't have even shown up and what did would have left before halftime. Well done. We've been on the other side of these for far too long and often. With vast experience in this arena I can sympathize with your pain and it absolutely sucks. Hell we're still experiencing games like this.
