IU needs to be all-in on Caleb Furst in 2021.

Why did everyone say Dawson Garcia was a Marquette lean? Sometimes people hear things and there's alot of circumstantial "smoke": PU's recent success, especially with frontcourt players, IU's struggles, N of Indy kid, etc... I totally agree IU should go after him hot and heavy, but we're not going to get them all, so we can't put all our eggs in the Furst basket.
Unless a kid truly loves IU the chances are iffy. IU needs Kaufmann,Wesley PG-Lander and a big. It would be great if IU could get Furst too. But there are other bigs they need to show attention too also in case he isn't on board. IU was only looking at 2 in 20. Loveday and Garcia. Neither chose IU. CAM need to be more expansive than that. Don't settle on mediocre but don't put eggs in one basket either ala Crean.
No question that we are in desperate need of a big, or perhaps 2 in the 2021 class. Deron Davis will be gone, as will Brunk. Potential is also real that TJD will be gone. That would leave Race Thompson as the only player on the roster over 6’7”. Bigs are definitely a huge need in ‘21
This will take care of itself when recruits see playing time, and how Archie does with TJD’s development.
