Only enough munitions to support one or two days of fighting in the event of a serious conflict.

Years of chronic underfunding and heedless aid shipments to Ukraine have left Europe's dominant industrial power essentially defenseless. Germany has sent 22 million rounds of small arms ammunition to Ukraine since June of 2022.

Current munitions shortfall of around 20 Billion Euros.

And the German political masters don't seem to care.

NATO is a hollowed out shell.

Ah, so this is why you defected to the Russians. You're upset that Merkel/Scholz sold out the Fatherland.

22 million rounds of small arms ammo is the equivalent to the ammo cache of 1000 to 2000 typical US gun enthusiasts. If that's all it took for them to deplete their munition stores they had much bigger issues than underfunding or aid shipments. I mean FFS, we have more privately held guns than people. you can multiply the number of guns privately owned by 500-1000 for the number of rounds of ammo privately owned.

The small arms ammunition shipped to Uke is one part of the shortfall, used to illustrate the greater issue.
Current budgeting can replace about 29 million small arms rounds per year.
The shortfalls occur in all areas: artillery, ARA, Naval and Luftwaffe munitions.
These conclusions were published by Die Welt, and Welt am Sonntag, reported by Eugyppius.

Next I'll report on the UK.

Seriously, even as trimmed down as their military is they have almost half a million service members between active duty and reserve military along with law enforcement. 29 million rounds is barely 2 magazines per person. How the hell do you even maintain proficiency at such a small number?

How is China going to get to Germany to take them. Poland, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, nor Netherlands are likely to attack.

No one else would survive NATO air power to get there (unless China conquers Russia which they easily could do but it would take time).

I mean some unnamed country is making progress in Ukraine at rates that would embarrass WW1 generals. You know, month long offensives that cost thousands of lives and take 50 yards.

Germany current active, reserve and civilian (significant)component total around 261,000..second in Europe after France.

China has zero chance to conquer Russia militarily, just like they had zero chance to conquer the US militarily.

lucky for China, Wall St, who controls all US economic policy, was willing to sell the US to China in exchange for cheap labor thus high share holder value.

China never had to fire a shot, and conquered the US.

and we financed it all for them, and gave them all our trade/intellectual secrets as well.

so now they can piss in our face all day everyday, and do, there's nothing we can do about it, and Wall St with no national allegiance, sees this as a good thing rather than bad.
