If they give this game away to Georgia Tech, I feel like that wraps this thing up for IU.

IU would move ahead of them with a win vs. PU and the only way Georgia would pass IU is if they won the SEC. In that case, we know a team like Texas A&M didn't sneak in ahead of us. But if Texas A&M won, then Georgia would stay behind IU. Either way, same result.

Am I thinking about this right?

Refs are doing everything in their power to let Georgia back in the game! They held every play on their last drive with no calls and got stuffed on 4th and goal only to get a DPI penalty! The SEC is full of pathetic pricks!
It was a penalty. Guy pulled himself into the play with an arm around his neck. I thought it was horseshit for sure, but on replay I see why they called it.

GT went down and scored. And the officials called a horsecollar.

Georgia is being dominated, at home, by the fourth place team in the ACC. The SEC truly sucks this season.

Georgia, if they lose, would no longer have a chance to get in as an at-large. They’d need to win the SEC championship game to get the automatic bid.

Not how it works. It means the ACC is much stronger then we thought so Miami, SMU, and Clemson all move up several spots.

Plus, Georgia losing must mean South Carolina is the SEC team we were supposed to favor. So they move way up.

Simple.

Nah, I disagree. Only Clemson or SC can make it as one of them will lose. To that, Miami and SMU are already ahead of us. So either Clemson wins and SC is no longer a concern. Or SC wins and Clemson is no longer a concern.

Nebraska could have helped us with Strength of Schedule... All their QB had to do was not fumble... He did and Iowa kicked a FG as time expired for the W... Arrggghhh !!! 😖🙈

I love how ABC/ESPN are saying Georgia is in CFP. Basically got their ass beat by a middle of the pack ACC team at home. What if Texas or A&M drill them next week? They in??? F - off ESPN.

Funny...ESPN's headline says Georgia clinched a spot in the CFP with their win. Peculiar, because I'm pretty sure the only way to clinch is by winning your conference championship, and they won't be playing Tech when they do that.

I didn't used to believe ESPN had an SEC bias, but I'm seeing it now.

Because they supposedly have nearly a 'rule' where if you lose you conference championship you won't drop. Even though they should consider all evidence.

Georgia should drop below us right? Six OTs at home to beat Georgia Tech?

I'm kidding. They absolutely should, but they won't.
