It didn't matter how good Georgia's defense or Iowa's defense was they lacked offenses that could score against any defense. Even in the ACC Pittsburg with a talented offense beat WF that had the better defense.
I hope coach Allen looks at the real trend in football an realize you better have a top offense to win championships with as good a defense as you can build. Offenses can manipulate defenses with a very good OC more than defenses can manipulate offenses. I came from a defensive background but understood when becoming a HC I need an offense that defense couldn't stop, if we were to win titles. Coach Allen's OC hire will say a lot about the chances of success at IU in the B1G.
