Today kids, we’re not featuring the plummeting team rebounding rate, FT%, 3pt%, 3pt attempts, Margin of Victory, Torvik’s odds of making the tourney…
Let’s take a peek at all the fellow programs who are 0-7 (or worse) in NET Q1!!
Vanderbilt - Led by former NBA player Jerry Stackhouse in his 5th season (with two whole post-season berths during his tenure, both NIT!), Vandy hopes to claw outta the SEC cellar soon!
Georgetown - Ed Cooley takes the reins in his 1st year after ex-NBA/Georgetown great Patrick Ewing’s intriguing 6-year run, one that featured one 1st round tourney exit and one 1st round NIT exit. Plus a thrilling 2-37 record his last two years in conference!
Depaul (0-8) - These pesky Blue Demons may stay a bit blue after failing to reach the tourney in what looks like their 20th straight year! Keep trying fellas! You’ll gel soon!
Mississippi Valley State (dead last in NET) - With some effort and time and jelling, these fellas may win a game someday! This proud, 0-20 program has made the tourney five times in their entire history and never won a game there, someday soon guys!
Go Hurryin’ Hoosiers!!!
