Indiana's team camp takes place this weekend and that means it's a great -- and easy -- opportunity to get a handful of recruits on campus unofficially.

Some notable prospects taking part in the camp, we've confirmed, and thus on campus, are: 2023 commit Gabe Cups (Centerville, OH), 2023 hybrid guard Joey Brown (North Central), 2023 forward JQ Roberts (Bloomington North - offered), 2024 guard Jonathan Powell (Centerville, OH - offered), 2024 guard Travis Perry (Lyon County, KY), 2025 forward Trent Sisley (Heritage Hills - offered), 2025 guard Jalen Haralson (Fishers - offered).

Centerville will actually play both Fishers and Lyon County at one point this weekend, so Cupps will go up against Jalen Haralson and Travis Perry.

The biggest development over the week has been the visit of 2023 forward TJ Power. He told TheHoosier.com last weekend that Indiana wanted him to visit June 8-10 and he was pretty locked into that but yesterday decided to push it to the fall.

He told TheHoosier.com that the reason for that was family stuff that was already set for that weekend or around that weekend.

He is coming off of an official visit to Virginia but doesn't have any other visits set at this time for June.

Of UVA's pitch: "He (Tony Bennett) said that they would utilize my versatility and run me off of a lot of off ball screens. I would be able to play a 3/4 position and move around a lot."

Indiana is still in the lead group with Notre Dame and UVA but obviously a visit already taken to Virginia does hold weight.

We will have more on Power later today or this weekend after speaking with him at the EYBL session last weekend.

More on Power after his IU offer:

2023 forward Arrinten Page took an official visit to Cincinnati earlier this week and is planning to take one to Indiana this summer. No dates are for certain at the moment but looking for one late in June if her can get there.

Right now the core programs are Cincinnati, USC, Missouri, Indiana.

We spoke with Page over the weekend in Louisville and here was some of the tidbits on Indiana:

"Coach Woodson tells me about the strong use of post guys and how he is really trying to get all of his guys involved in the offense... it's (Indiana) a big family. There are a lot of good dudes there."

"He's (Yasir Rosemond) a cool dude. Very young. He knows about the younger generation so I can relate to him (easily)"

On his recruiting process, he says he is now pretty focused on his recruitment:

"Very seriously (in recruitment mode). From the education, how they play, the environment, I'm taking in everything."

Page struggled earlier in the weekend but had a strong showing on Monday last week.

2023 forward Coen Carr has fallen off of the radar a bit due to his finger injury that caused him to miss all of the spring up until last weekend in Louisville. He returned and had a terrific showing, averaging 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game over the weekend. He also shot 60.4 percent (29-of-48) from the field.

The biggest part of his game that is in question is his shooting ability. He is one of - if not the most athletic player in the class so that hides some of his inconsistencies from the perimeter. He was 2-of-9 last weekend from three.

Indiana wants shooting on the wing so it has prioritized shooters. Carr is still on the radar, however.

He told TheHoosier.com that Indiana, Cincinnati, Clemson, Georgia and South Carolina are the main schools involved at the moment. Tennessee, Vanderbilt are two other programs that have been involved in the recruitment. To what extent, we will see. He mentioned Baylor began to reach out.

He's looking to set visit up with Clemson, potentially Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

At this point, he said he's looking to make an August decision. We'll see if that holds.

Some big news related to 2024 wing Liam McNeeley was yesterday when he announced he would be transferring to Montverde Academy (Fla.) A Texas native, this is a significant development.

He holds an offer from Indiana but getting him out of Texas was going to be difficult if he stayed. Not only does he leave the state, but he heads to a program where Indiana now has a strong connection.

Indiana has two 2022 players in Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau who were huge factors in the success of Montverde over the past two years. Indiana also is targeting Montverde 2023 wing KJ Evans and 2024 center Derik Queen.

On Indiana, McNeeley told TheHoosier.com: “I mean, he (Woodson) was in the league for like more than I’ve been alive so he knows what he is talking about of course. I mean, he’s just a great basketball mind and glad that he is reaching out to me."

College coaches can't make direct contact with 2024 recruits until June 15, so expect the communication to really take the next step then.

McNeeley is ranked No. 11 in the 2024 class and has offers from Texas, Texas Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Stanford, SMU, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and others.

Brian Walsh has been involved.

We will have a full interview with McNeeley later today.

2024 Brownsburg (Ind.) / Indy Heat prospect Kanon Catchings continues to have a strong spring and that resulted in an offer from Purdue this week.

Indiana continues to stay in touch with Catchings and there is the expectation that the relationship could continue to develop over the summer months.

Indiana's freshmen class arrived on campus yesterday as offseason work begins next week.
