Is this the definition of an oxymoron. You have one opinion about 1 subject time after time after time. Everybody here has some level of concern about Archie. Even the many of the most ardent anti-archie group are discussing recruits.

I won't put you on ignore or name call or say you suck. I get a good laugh when I read your stuff and the responses that come after. I especially liked your medical analysis of concussions. It has to be all made-up Schtick to garner responses. Keep it coming because there is entertainment value.

Some fans on here have lowered the expectations so low but schools like Arkansas, California, UCLA, St John's, Vanderbilt, are about winning. This board is far more critical of the coaches, players and AD than the casual fan, the casual fan just roots and is generally much more supportive. Fraudy is completely out of touch.

You might want to read that Deadspin article @twenty02 linked. St John's won't be doing any winning for a long long time. That program is in free fall and is an absolute sh!t show.

Truthfully, I think the Big East as a conference is in a free fall, never really finding a foothold after the 2013 realignment. Other than Villanova, it feels like ever other Big East member has taken a significant step back since 2013. If the rest of the conference can't re-establish itself, I could definitely see them pulling Villanova down with them.

I think he either [1] hates Fred Glass with a passion for not firing Tom Crean earlier and hiring Brad Stevens (whether possible or not) and hates everything Fred Glass or [2] is a total troll and non-IU fan: I think it is the former. I also think he is older, time is running out, and he wants to see something special before the sand in the hourglass runs out. He obviously doesn't have much faith in Fred Glass to "make it happen." Feepee is broken record, and that one track is frustration and hate: can't be easy or enjoyable to keep that going.

From the articles posted it certainly doesn't sound like he was forced out. It sounds more like he got fed up and left. And even if he was forced out, it was after four years. They made the NCAAT in year four after three years of no post season. Miller is only on year two and made the NIT. So this argument for getting rid of Miller falls apart unless you're suggesting he gets two more seasons. If that is the case, then I agree with you.

Sorry captain, you are on a small boat, most fans have an optimistic view of a new coach. They know the issues of adjustment to a new system, player movement, team chemistry, getting his own players. Chris Beard scenarios are few and far between. Give Beard the injury issues this team had and TT would have had a hard time making the NCAA.

Continuity is a huge factor in winning programs, black and white stats do not tell the story of Archie's first two years. He is considered one of the best young coaches in the country. Lets see where this conversation is in two years, I have a hard time believing most rational fans agree with you.

This is how dumb some people are. When you had a coach that didn’t teach defense and ran an up tempo offense and didn’t care about turnovers to what Miller runs. I also think when coaches take over a program it’s easier if they have the type of players they want already there and not have to rebuild. Let’s take a look at Smith who looks better suited for an uptempo type of offense instead of a half court game. This is why it will take him longer to get to where he needs to be.
