For all the Trump apologists

And yet I bet you were one of many that were singing a different tune when Biden was president.

When conservative hacks alito and Thomas even said Trump was wrong, it is pretty clear Trump was wrong. You are just showing how blindly partisan you are in this debate
Alito is a hack? Princeton Yale. US attny. Buckley. Fed society. Prosecutor. He’s old school hardcore conservative. Not remotely my cup of tea but a hack? Why do you participate in threads like this hickory?

It isn't a good thing if they aren't able to work because projects are canceled, which I am seeing bit of. It would be one thing to a partial union and partial non-union workers. It is another thing altogether to have all union workers in labor intensive jobs such as masonry and framers. Already a shortage of framers and masons--demand has been high for them for 10 years. Unfortuantely, qualified people are not gravitating to the trades nearly as much as before.
Short term it will suck. However, eventually higher wages will take care of labor shortages.

It is the immigration courts set up through the executive branch under the AG, so technically yes, but they operate as courts, hear evidence, appeals, bond hearings and issue orders (asylum, etc)
Well . . . .Upon taking a break from finishing Gatsby . . . .

It seems to me that the federal district court has no jurisdiction or authority in the Garcia case at all. All Garcia decisions and orders must go through the DOJ’s immigration court system.

The immigration court has plenary authority over the Garcia claims and appeals from that court go to the Board of Immigration Appeals. Appeals from the Board go to the circuit court of appeals.

A federal district court might have habeas authority over somebody in Garcia’s position, but that is questionable since he was in a civil removal process and not criminally incarcerated.

The odds of all the millions of Obama deportees receiving 'due process', as defined currently, are about that of you and Gojko hanging out and smoking a bowl together.
I wish I knew who Gojko was.....the odds of me smoking a bowl with anyone are nil anyway--never smoked in my life. Scotch and beer were enough. Although, I might be willing to chew of my cbd gummies with folks

Alito definitely not a hack. Smart guy. I would never bang him though. Lucy might.

My memory is turning to shit but back in the Peegs days wasn’t he threatening to file suit. Knight dismissal. Something. I can’t remember
Yes. Something to do with Brand failing to some thing or other related to contacting members of the BOT separately to avoid some rule or another.
You can see I'm well versed on the details.

I barely remember. I was a bitch those years working like an animal

Don’t agree. The only theme with Garcia is an anti-Trump theme. The left doesn’t like Trump’s deportation efforts and the left chose Garcia as their poster boy for that opposition.
No offense, but this is complete bullshit. That might be a theme, but it's not the only theme, and it's certainly not the most prominent theme on this very forum. The theme for most of us is that the executive must follow the law and defer to and implement lawful orders of the judiciary. This isn't about Trump beyond the fact that Trump is making it about him by behaving so horribly.

Gojko is infamously the most racist lawyer in Indiana, and the guy who sued IUB for firing RMK. He claimed in his complaint that they violated the open meetings rules, but on his private message board, he made it clear he was upset that we replaced RMK with a monkey (his terminology).

Ha. The democrats on this forum aren’t running for office. You don’t get votes by whining about due process. You get votes ( or think you do) by showing resistance with every breath you take.

He had two boards. The one you’re talking about’s only purpose was to troll the anti-Knight faction of IU fans. Some of them pretended to be racist and some likely were. Either way, I was on that board, but did not participate. His other board was a secret pro-Knight board without the trolling. This one I participated in. It eventually became a Texas Tech basketball board while Knight coached there. I occasionally participated in that one and it was not racist, pretend or otherwise. The trolling site was successful because I never left the IU boards and his troll site was a big topic of conversation. The secret and serious site was restricted membership only.

Yeah, I had access. They were inveterate racists. Denying it is ridiculous.

Uh huh. They were pretending. You're a smart guy, Aloha. Don't be stupid on this count.
I’m just telling what the purpose of that board was. They would talk about their latest trolling efforts were on the Knight/TT board and laugh at the conversations about them that they read on the IU boards. None of that was my thing, but they didn’t post like racists on the secret board. Eventually, I tired of the board and even forgot the password. It was a bunch of guys that liked and supported Knight and little disagreement on that so it was fairly boring.

You don't? You were on the Peegs boards, right? He was the MAGA before MAGA became a thing, only the Nazi wing. Not as good a lawyer as CoH, but thought he was.

He'd track down people when IP addresses were displayed and rat on them to their bosses for computer use on company time.

He was a real sweetheart.

I'm actually glad weed was my vice of choice instead of alcohol. Music was better and not so hard on the liver. Sure, I wasted 4 years at IU, but had a blast. At that time, pot didn't have the potency it does now, so no lasting damage (I don't think). The alcohol of choice for me has always been beer and tequila shots, if I do any hard stuff. After graduating from language school in the Army, I got so drunk on Scotch, I had to be carried back to my room (literally) and I had to stay there for 3 days while I recovered. Worst. Hangover. Ever. To this day, the smell of Scotch makes me nauseous.

I'm a proud Peegster still!!

Now I remember after Goat reminded me of who he was. He was bonkers--didn't know about the IP address thing though-that's just wrong.

Your scotch is my tequilla--I can't smell it without getting nauseous. I had no issues with people smoking--just wasn't my deal. One of 6 people in America who bought into Nancy Reagan's Just Say No PSA. I also was and am all in on the don't litter PSA with the Indian in the commercial crying. To this day, I will pick up any trash I see walking the dog because I picture the crying Indian man. Good thing they didn't have pro communist PSA's huh---I might have changed my name to Mark Trotsky, or Vladimir Ilych Milton..... 🤣 🤣 Right @CO. Hoosier and @BradStevens

No. You're using the George Constanza definition, which isn't what a lie is.

A lie is a lie. It doesn't matter if you don't know whether it is true.

Maybe your knowledge matters for perjury convictions or ethics violations but if you say it and it is not true, it's a lie.

The hilarious thing is, not one person can define 'due process' for illegal aliens. Leftists on this board scream about it, but not one can define it.
It's all over. One of my MAGA friends posted this on Facebook today:

Now the President is free to do anything he wants to do on immigration without any restraint at all! LOL!
