It seems to me that the federal district court has no jurisdiction or authority in the Garcia case at all. All Garcia decisions and orders must go through the DOJ’s immigration court system.
The immigration court has plenary authority over the Garcia claims and appeals from that court go to the Board of Immigration Appeals. Appeals from the Board go to the circuit court of appeals.

Either way, I was on that board, but did not participate. His other board was a secret pro-Knight board without the trolling. This one I participated in. It eventually became a Texas Tech basketball board while Knight coached there. I occasionally participated in that one and it was not racist, pretend or otherwise. The trolling site was successful because I never left the IU boards and his troll site was a big topic of conversation. The secret and serious site was restricted membership only.

I’m just telling what the purpose of that board was. They would talk about their latest trolling efforts were on the Knight/TT board and laugh at the conversations about them that they read on the IU boards. None of that was my thing, but they didn’t post like racists on the secret board. Eventually, I tired of the board and even forgot the password. It was a bunch of guys that liked and supported Knight and little disagreement on that so it was fairly boring.

I'm actually glad weed was my vice of choice instead of alcohol. Music was better and not so hard on the liver. Sure, I wasted 4 years at IU, but had a blast. At that time, pot didn't have the potency it does now, so no lasting damage (I don't think). The alcohol of choice for me has always been beer and tequila shots, if I do any hard stuff. After graduating from language school in the Army, I got so drunk on Scotch, I had to be carried back to my room (literally) and I had to stay there for 3 days while I recovered. Worst. Hangover. Ever. To this day, the smell of Scotch makes me nauseous.
