Flory…

The new norm. Buy the player for a season. Then buy them again to keep them. Flory will be in the portal again. Mark it down.

Drew Adams stepping down in…

Ha ha. Seriously though. All that talk before Flory went to Kansas must have been complete bullshit…with how close they were.

I haven't seen much about Drew Adams pulling in top recruits at either of his most recent stops. Cincinatti fans were asking 'did he get us anybody?' when the news broke he was leaving for Indiana. I hope he is a recruiter or a good coach.
But I'll trust Coach DeVries on who he wants on his staff. Since there's no other choice, lol.

"Run it Back"...I guess that's code for 'no one threw me a bag big enough, so I'll stay and try it again next spring' ??

IMO he's still raw talent and not the type of big that IU needs as CDD reshapes the culture and the roster. His skill set still needs a lot of development.

As for NBA...not even close at the moment.

I think I watched all of two 5-6 minute youtube highlights of Bidunga. I think out of about 30 buckets, 3 or 4 weren't dunks. Only saw one further out than 3 feet, it was a nice little baby hook over a guy from in front.

But so what? He's athletic enough he was able to get open for those slams. And looks to certainly have the potential to develop an around the bucket game, he's coordinated. Even Uwe Blab was able to develop some scoring.

Not a big loss for us. But sure would be nice to have someone swatting them out of there with such ease. And grabbing boards. He'll be very useful for Kansas.

I think he would have fit very nicely with Bailey.

Bailey scores 70% ATR and in the lane. Pairing a player like him with a very limited skill package with Bailey would only clog the lane. He's an undersized, overvalued, overpriced dinosaur. He would only work as a small ball single post, or if paired with an actual stretch four.
