Imagine siding with the biggest loser country in history. Russia couldn’t even defeat Ukraine, despite crazy advantages in numbers. No wonder the Germans, Japanese and everyone else kicked their ass in battle.

So you think Ukraine is a winner in this fiasco? NATO and the EU are winning?
Short fat and stupid is no way to go through life. Get a clue.

Ruskies must be tickled pink.
Since their chief ambassador posted this, they must be. Other Russian mouthpieces concur:

The Kremlin and its media machine have not been this ecstatic since the launch of Putin’s “special military operation” on Feb. 24, 2022, when for a day or two it actually looked as if Russian forces would overrun Ukraine without much of a fight. “Trump is now doing our job for us” by “sawing” Europe into pieces, Russian talk show host Evgeny Popov told his viewers. His giddy, smiling co-host, Olga Skabeeva, described the turn of events as having been “unimaginable” and “unthinkable” before. On another show, the pundit Sergey Mikheev was elated by another Hegseth remark that was widely interpreted to mean that Washington was reconsidering its security commitment to Europe. Mikheev concluded that Russia was finally free to strike Brussels, London, and Paris. Some pundits basked in the fact that it was Trump who reached out to Putin. “It’s as if Julius Ceasar himself telephoned a barbarian,” Mosfilm studio chief Karen Shakhnazarov commented on another show.

There are no winners. But Russia is a bigger loser. Its military is a joke, and it imports Iranian drones because its technology is falling further and further beyond modern warfare. People laugh at how pathetic Russia's military might is these days.

Exactly right, no one is winning. But one "advanced" country is now using horses and mules because it is out of trucks. That country is the biggest loser.

Nothing says power like having to import North Koreans to defend your own border.

So mighty Ukraine will be rolling over the horses and mules losers....' any time now'....
Oh wait!
Little old Ukraine, nope. Too small. Go back to the USSR invading Finland. The Soviets had about 200,000 casualties. Figures that were appalling at the time. Finland had about 75,000. The Soviets ended up getting the territory they wanted, but paid a heck of a price for it. The similarities between the Winter War and Ukraine are eerily similar.

The same thing is happening here. Of course, you don't care about the poor Russian soldiers becoming casualties by the trainload as long as the tough guy looks tough.

Those hyenas won't be laughing when Putin rejects any compromise on territory and Trump gets pissed.

Trump is laying some tough love on the Europeans and they don't like it. But it's for their own good.

Right. The war is over. All that is happening now is more infrastructure destruction, suffering and killing none of which will change a thing. It has been obvious since the first year of the war is that the only way this ends is for Russia to keep some Russian/Ukraine territory and Ukraine to stay out of NATO. Why is either bad for the United States?

Why is it bad that an arch nemesis of the U.S. keeps Ukranian (don't even start with this bullshit) territory? Jesus. You can't get peeved about BO's response to Crimea and then try and justify this type of garbage.

Russia under Putin is a failed nation that in it's pursuit to turn former Soviet Republics into vassal states, it has also ensured that many of us posting here will see Russia become a vassal state to China in our lifetime.

Better Black Sea access.

There is a map here.

Look it over and get back to us.

China is far and away the world leader in rare earth metals. Russia and Brazil are in the top 5 or so. That's most of BRICs right there. Ukraine isn't that rich, except compared to most of the rest of the world. Why wouldn't Russia want to add that collection and deprive it from the US.

It is Cold War 101, look at the world where there are important areas due to resources or geography (Suez Canal for example) and try to control them.

Have you ever had borscht cola?

The Rooskis will be tickled all types of colors . . .
Nope. The only time I got food poisoning in all my port visits and eating the local food around the world was after eating at a nice restaurant in Vladivostok. I was sick for two days.

Why don't you direct your question to someone who has claimed to 'love' Russia?
The ease with which supposedly educated people can be propagandized always disappoints.
You spread Russian misinformation and propaganda on a routine basis. No one is more susceptible to being “propagandized” than you are. These are good questions being asked of you - when and why did you become a Russian propagandist? Was it purposeful or did you just fall for the propaganda? Are you paid or do you do it free of charge? When did you stop being a patriotic American?

Ukraine is a corrupt country. It should not become a NATO member with its Article V protection. Right now Germany, the UK, and certainly the Baltics can’t defend themselves, so Uncle Sam gets to do that. Ukraine only increases our exposure.

I frankly don’t see a US interest in in Donbas being Ukrainian. In fact if Donbas is Ukrainian, chances are better for election of a Russian puppet in Ukraine.

In 2020, Ukraine spent $6 billion on defense and had mostly old Soviet equipment. In 2020 Germany spent $53 billion and has modern fighters and tanks. If the Russian Army that was still whole couldn't take Ukraine, what on earth makes you think the Russian army that has lost thousands of armored vehicles, a couple hundred thousand men, and almost all their trucks, can conquer Germany?

Or even more, the UK where they would have to conduct a sea invasion.
