He needs more talent. Cig is a great coach. But we need a lot more NIL $ if we have a prayer of competing with the big boys.
The price of NIL has seemingly skyrocketed. It's incredible! Like funding an F1 team.
As long as we have enough to play moneyball though, I feel good with Coach Cig's eyes helping with the choosing. He'll upgrade us every year for awhile.

And it will probably take a few years before IU is at a high enough level to be a challenger for going far into the CFP.

He’s obviously trying to change the team’s mentality. Sure it can make fans a little uncomfortable, but give him a break, the job of turning around IUFB isn’t easy, and he’s been pretty effective.

I love it and it’s high time to we finally got someone in here with an attitude. We had another coach in here like that who an opposing coach threatened to “take him outside because he’s the classic bully. He comes in here, rapes our state….”
Nope. No more nice guys in coaching if you want to be serious about winning. This isn’t a sport for being a really nice guy and likeable personality .
I wonder if Cig will gather all of them today and have a nice, big LEO hug and tell them they played their little hearts out and it’s warm cookies and milk for all?
