Feb 4 wisc

Iu plays at Wiscy on Feb 4 knowing IU’s history at the Kohls Center this may be the worst beatdown in IU history.
It will take a lot. i am assuming that this one is still the record:

On February 27, 1994, the Indiana University (IU) Hoosiers men's basketball team lost to Minnesota 106-56.

RMK gave up on that one early, after a terrible start, pulling all the starters

still remember this one. Pat Knight was our CBS player of the game. This was around the time I first sensed that the golden years may be behind us.

Let it all be known, from here and afar: I hate everything Buckyville. I am confident that we get our @$# handed to us. Final score: UW: 97... The Woodson (Take Us To The) Wood-shedders: 51

And came back two days later and beat Illinois at AH. Made Sweet 16 that season with a bad defensive, but great shooting team.

And if I recall, we beat a top 10 UK in the Hoosier Dome in December, led by Damon Bailey, and looked like a top 10 team ourselves. It was the start of those seasons where we ran out of gas and finished weak in February and March.

I didnt get that sense until around the early bad start to 1997-1998 when it dawned on me. It was becoming a pattern unfortunatelty at this time. The season you just mentioned to me, was the last season IU basketball felt like IU basketball.

Also with multiple injuries. Bailey stomach muscles/knees, Evans shoulder, Graham's 50% foot and then Wilkerson's broken leg against Temple.. His quickness againt BC might have been what they needed to hold on to that late 5 point lead in that sweet 16 game. Anyways, a solid season none the less.

You forgot Alan’s bum knee.started that season wearing a brace the size of a sleeping bag.

OK, I agree, I think that loss in the S16 versus BC was the last time it felt like we were close to the top

They are having a decent season. If just a matter of NIL we would be in the national championship game against Arkansas.
I thought if you had the money to buy the top talent that coaching wasn't that important. so, figured Wisconsin would struggle since they can't even afford to pay their own talent
