The Movement - I envisioned Jeremy Hollowell as our Jalen Rose. The entire summer thinking we were going to make an unethical move for Ron Patterson and Gary Harris.

There was no bigger waste of time than discussing ‘creaning’. And we did it for years.

That, at the time, was good enough for me.

The multi-page cornrows debate. Megan. Ricky. Germans bombing Pearl Harbor. Morans. Clueless dolts who would jump in to correct either the spelling of "Morans" or the fact that the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor. Oh, and Megan.
Add to that the huge number of people who have absolutely no sarcasm meter.

My fav was coming on here to speculate with the others on which FlightAware path was the one bringing Davis' replacement... we were all wrong.

During my Peeg’s mod days, had a still active poster who was always pissed about someone’s posts, calling for bans, sending DMs constantly. We started to notice that this poster was using multiple handles, sometimes posting with different ones in the same thread, agreeing with his own posts, liking them. Did a little checking and realized he was doing it on a few other big 10 boards too. Ended up getting doxxed by someone at IU who revealed he wasn’t quite everything he claimed as far as being a heralded alum, ticket holder and donor. We deleted it but it got screen shotted and shared, along with a twitter fight with Purdue fans where he said some nasty stuff and then deleted all of his posts. It may still be out there in the ether, and it used to get some play on other boards.

The Abugabby attempted flex on GBI was an all-timer. IIRC he was trying to brag about his success and he posted pics of his house which was 100% decorated like he was 80 years old. Classic Purdue oddball.
I think he is still at it. Way weird. He is also the guy that wished cancer on the other FB coaches after Hep passed.

What ever happened to Kevin Matthews? The Jimmy Shorts and Harry Caray skits were great.
Used to listen to Kev constantly. He moved back to MI when Chicago talk radio died off. He’s been fighting MS for many yrs. Loved Kev, he was an original and an acquired taste in humor.

What are ya…goofy?

Is it wrong??

Late 80s…AM 1000 The Loop…Brandmeier, Kev, Steve and Garry,…the golden era of Chicago radio.

Yea, good call, and it was when it was becoming clear we were no longer terrible like we had been the past three years.

That Vic reverse slam was sweet.
