Agreed on the competitiveness factor, certainly hope so.Merc started to figure something out after the "mid" season break last year. Should be more competitive this year.
Are Merc replacing the stupid sidepods or will ZEE CHERMANS remain stubborn in their rightness (to be fair, they usually end up being right)
Nice to see an American backed team in F1.
Ford partnering with Red Bull starting in 2026Nice to see an American backed team in F1.
Need to find the next Mario, F1 champ.
Can’t forgive them for the Russian stunt. Screw Gene Haas.Nice to see an American backed team in F1.

Big front wing for cornering … looks fast enough
Peep those sidepods. They get something figured out finally?
Should be fun to watch play out. Merc’s going thin and Ferrari out here looking thiccPeep those sidepods. They get something figured out finally?
Was surprised to see ZHO at the top of the charts todayNot much has changed.
Red Bull looks best. Ferrari is still pretty good. Merc still isn’t good. Aston might’ve made a step. Mclaren looks like 💩
I may die of a hopium overdoseMy gosh that Red Bull is untouchable. Everyone but Alonso looks toast.
Read Alpine is really sandbagging. We’ll see.I'm not yet convinced everyone is showing their full pace. The Haas up there so close is a little suspicious.

Sounds like Ferrari is having some back wing issues
1 lap pace, sure. But I think race pace is pretty well known. Nobody can touch RB.
Alonso, if he's up there, is going to become all the Max fanbois Public Enemy #1 once he punts Max about 5 times.

Merc ain't hiding anything other than their failures. They're probably waiting for the new engine regs and confusion in 2025That'd be OK with me. Honestly, I could see Max winning 16 races this season. I think it's going to be a romp. Unless Mercedes is hiding something I don't see anyone challenging. I'm not buying into the Aston Martin thing yet.
They seem to have gone balls deep into the no sidepod design. Surprised they doubled down on in this past offseasonMerc ain't hiding anything other than their failures. They're probably waiting for the new engine regs and confusion in 2025
I think their engine is fine (look at AM) but the aero design is flawed and they keep trying to make it work. should have shelved it last yar and started over but alas no
I think Merc are purposefully sacrificing one lap pace for race paceThey seem to have gone balls deep into the no sidepod design. Surprised they doubled down on in this past offseason
