My daughter met this kid at the Charlotte airport last summer. He was transferring from Maryland to UNC Charlotte (they're not very good, but they have a new coach).
My daughter asked him if he was transferring for playing time. He said no - he had started at Maryland and was getting playing time. But he said the atmosphere was terrible there and he just wanted to get out.
