Lol. Keep up the smoke and mirrors.
I don’t take seriously anybody like yourself who idolizes a deity called “Set.”

Go back to your candle burning and Ouija board and leave the analysis to coherent adults on this planet.
lol ... that doesn't even make sense ..

Did that giant stick you have buried up your ass finally reach your brain?

Everything is right on track folks to be the 6-8 place finish I originally predicted, even before guys got hurt.

I’m not surprised, disappointed or otherwise. It is exactly what I thought.
The problem is with sunshine-pumping addicts like Twenty02 who was raised on the Mike Davis era, thinking he sees good basketball, putting on his crimson blinders and trying to spin things as they are not.

Don’t take issue with me. Criticize the coaching, the softness of the Archie era and the offense that resembles a carbon copy of that goofy thing that the tan man installed.

Twenty02 - you can admit at the end of this month that you were trying to sell the board a bunch of snake oil about the team, you are a millennial who is part of the excuse-generation and you have no clue what good basketball looks like.

As I said....assclown.

I've watched basically every IUBB game since the late 80s. Watched a lot of garbage from about 94 and on. With only very brief exceptions.

What snake oil have I sold? I said all along the team would be a borderline top 25 team and a 5-7 seed in the tourney. Nothing has changed.... Including your menstruation.

Terrible comparison. Roy is a HOF coach whose body of work allows a few duds as opposed to a guy who has shown a disturbing pattern in 2 years at the helm.

Is Holtmann a garbage coach now?

Colts are down two touchdowns and Luck has had three straight 3 and outs. Are the Colts and Luck garbage?

You're the worst kind of troll...a fair weather, opportunistic one.

Try harder and be more consistent in good times and bad. At least Fpaugh is a troll all the time, not just after losses.

And pray that Romeo hasn't found a higher gear (which he might have. Uh oh), and that Green is playing more within himself and that Smith has found his groove.

You are aware that our starting lineup has actually won the last two games, both on the road against upper division teams.

And we're getting healthier.

Keep on trolling.

You worried about the competition? No one gets it wrong or is a bigger apologist than you. Saying two players who haven’t played yet would’ve made a big difference last night underscores your idiocy. Leave the board to people who know what they’re talking about.

Ordy!

Bitter much?

Our fan base would have wanted to run off John Beilien after his first two years with his 32-36 record

And rightfully so. Waiting for Beilein to hit his twilight years so we can make a couple Final 4 runs is not my idea of a good time.

The macro view of his career is that of a good coach who struggled to get the talent necessary to be a perennial power.

I feel as if my browser opened on the forum from the last year of CTC . . . Especially when I see comments like "he needs a ton of talent to win" . . . "he is a mediocre coach" and the ever popular "smoke and mirrors."

The Colts overachieved this year so bright days are ahead of them.

Now, back to IU basketball.
I was a big supporter of the Archie hire based on what I saw him doing at Dayton. I wanted Donovan but, no big name was coming to a program on the down slide, so whatever.

Archie has some kind of amnesia with coaching because what he was doing in the A10, he’s not doing here.
His defense is better than the Tanned One but his in-game management is atrocious and his team is soft.

He’s not weird or idiosyncratic on the sideline. Instead, he looks like he has been taking a nap most of the game.

Look- I’m probably as disappointed as anyone with the guy. A bunch of red flags right now with the guy that has nothing to do with injuries.

We didn't want Donovan at IU.

His in game management? There was a stat on the Twitterverse that we had the largest scoring differential in the conference in second halves.

Before yesterday everyone was losing their s#$t over our slow starts.

Other than Fitzner I thought he's managed the games about as well as you could this year. His stoic demeanor doesn't lose his s#$t and the team hasn't panicked over slow starts.

I don't want an emotional drama queen personally. Maybe you do.

Our team right now is top 5 player, freshman Romeo and then a some near 100 (low four, high three) players. Obviously Morgan is a three star beast, playing like a five star.

We're 12-4, as many top 50 wins as anyone and just lost two games on the road to two of the upper tier conference teams.

Even with all that headwind, we're ranked around 24th which is our largest one year Kenpom jump since year 3 to year 4 of the tanned one.

In year 2.

Like I previously said, Romeo is starting to take over, Green (unranked) is playing more under control, Durham (unranked) is hitting from the outside and Smith (around 80th) has put together a couple good games in a row (don't look but he scored in 4 different ways yesterday...a slam, a drive, in transition and with a 12 footer from the side).

I don't see the falling sky.

Talk to me if we lose 2 of our next 3.

So you predicted that a HEALTHY team would finish in the 6-8 range but now you're saying that this injury depleted team finishing there is a sign that they're terrible and Miller can't coach? And this after only 1/4 of the conference games played.
He’s just rambling because “we” lost a game on the road and he actually hurt his dog when he kicked it, his significant other is pissed that he got verbally abusive at the TV in front of children and he had to go to work hung over. He’ll be alright though.

Please provide specific examples of his mismanagement.

Playing Fitzner for 18 mins yesterday was mind-boggling.

He has played 28 of 80 mins the last 2 games. McRoberts has played 40 of 80 mins.

You cannot tell me that Forrester or Moore couldn’t get in for those minutes and add a bucket or two?

Even a single bucket would be better than what those guys have produced.

IU has lost 4 games on the road. Not “a” game. And we may lose all of our road games. A very real possibility.

You can’t tell me they WOULD have.

Archie sees what these guys are capable of every day in practice. You think he WANTS to keep them on the bench? My guess is he’d rather have subbed Jerome or Race.

We’re playing extremely short-handed - especially inside. Morgan played 36 minutes yesterday, the majority of the time trying to slow Fernando.

This team needs to get healthy. That will solve a lot.

Only thing I'm worried about is shooting we have no shooters this year or next. We will be athletic but no three point shooters.

That makes no sense because if you predicted us to finish 6-8 and we are right on track then if the guys didn’t get hurt we would be in the 3-5 range.

CAM is recruiting very well. IU will need a tough shooting guard[Tom Coverdale type]. Plus a big man that can jump for rebounds and blocked shots. If he can get those in 2020 class,IU can be really good. I don't understand the hate on here. IU has 2 guys who contribute little and a horde of injuries. Fitz and McRob need to step up but I Don't think they are those personality types. Just the way it is. While constructive criticism is good, outright meanness should be unacceptable as a Hoosier fan.Somethings take a little while to improve.

Well.....he will need it in this conference.

This is dumb. Who does not need a bunch of talent in any conference to compete? Newsflash, I was at IU in the late 90's, we had a HOF coach, and we had limited talent on our teams and we proceeded to go 20-10 and lose in the first round of the tournament every year. Everybody needs talent to win the BIG. Everyone needs talent to truly compete in the BIG.

Speaking of that HOF coach, how many players under him failed to be much more than they were? In my time at IU there was Eggers, Mandeville, Washington, Miller, Richardson, and on and on. He had 4 years to develop them and they never really progressed past what they brought to the table in year one. Yet up above you are complaining that Miller has not been able to change players after one year.

I am not a millennial but your swipe at them is dumb too. They could fire back that there are a bunch of stick up their ass Boomers who think that watching a HOF coach for several years makes them experts in the game.

The weave offense, the lack of toughness, not taking time outs when things go south, the comatose demeanor on the sideline (which everyone thinks is ultra cool and stoic), the lack of change and improvement in poor habits of Crean recruits, playing a guy in crucial moments that has absolutely no business playing basketball at this level. This should not be some 5-year rebuild, which is exactly how everyone here acts.

Were you born this way?
