In his interview or elsewhere did he state which game he initially injured his shoulder?

By his game log, seems like it was that second game of '25 against Villanova.

His shooting went to shit after that until he shut it down.

Tia.

On the subject of shoulders. This is from the Morgantown newspaper from December 2024. It says Tucker had shoulder surgery last March so March 2024 after 2023-2024 season. Am I missing something or is this a lingering shoulder issue that required a second surgery this season? He performed well against Georgetown Dec 2024 in his last game 2024-2025 season so understand what prompted the he-could-have-played stories and this was just after the debacle in the Atlantis tourney.

“We must precede this information with a cautionary tag, which is to simply say there has been no official word from WVU on the future of men’s basketball guard Tucker DeVries.

He is out “indefinitely,” with an upper body injury, which can mean any number of things.

What we do know is the last time we got an up-close look at DeVries, he had about a dozed suction-cup marks on his right shoulder and a pretty nasty scar left behind from surgery he had last March.

A day later, he played 37 minutes and scored 15 points against Georgetown.

He’s been out ever since, with WVU head coach Darian DeVries saying they are following the medical advice from team doctors.”

It mentions a big scar so I guess not Arthroscopic repair and suction cups so I guess still rehabbing in Dec 2024.

My guess is
1. He had an injection (Tordal?) that allowed the 37 minute game. But then decided he could not play getting Tordal before every game.
2. He aggravated the injury towards the end of the 37 minute game or in practice after that game.
I have no inside info nor do I know the family, but not everything is dubious (excluding politicians, lawyers, administrators, insurance companies).

Not possible to argue but in the case you lay out I have more concern for re-injury.
