lol. I would not bet on IU for anything basketball related. I should start probably betting against them. That might have amassed a nice little chunk of change this season.Did you have money on the game?
I thought maybe you took the Wolverines and they didn’t cover.😄lol. I would not bet on IU for anything basketball related. I should start probably betting against them. That might have amassed a nice little chunk of change this season.
There’s guys out there who are better. He probably sees better environment and opportunity at Michigan, regardless. IU is a dumpster fire in basketball. Who wants to walk into another Crean-like rebuild?Rhatard take
No way is it comparable to what Cignetti did. It would be a comparison that is strongly tilted in Cig's favor. There are 3 people who I believe could return IU to the top of college basketball again. Brad, Chris, and Dusty. With the roots Dusty has in the state, I would be negotiating right now with his people. What he has accomplished in his first year is comparable to Cignetti. I was leaning toward Beard but Dusty is going to win many conference titles and probably a few national titles. This squad is smart, fast, defensive, and plays as a team. They are very impressive.

One year, great. You think that's enough? Not good enough for me.Michigan 2023-2024 conference 3-17
Michigan 2024-2025 conference 10-2
Last to first?
Have to. Not expecting it at all but you have to ask. If Dolson could get him, he’d go into the books as a legendary AD.I'd definitely want to hear a no from Stevens, Beard, and Pearl before considering Dusty
No he hasn't.I’m just saying…May has done more than McCollum.
Keep the boosters far away from this hire. The boosters will see it differently I bet.
Then you must not have been impressed by Cignetti either. One year, great. You think that's enough? Not good enough for me.
Beard and Pearl are real coaches.I'd definitely want to hear a no from Stevens, Beard, and Pearl before considering Dusty.
Are you kidding.? What the hell are you talking about? Are you comparing Michigan basketball to IU football? Then you must not have been impressed by Cignetti either.
He’s got a favorable schedule with Purdue, Maryland, Illinois, and MSU all at home. Michigan has a road game at MSU, too, and it’s the only game they won’t be favored in. The B1G title is there for the taking if they can finish 7-1.lol why you so anti Dusty? Dude may win the BIg this year
While I can see some of the Crean thing, you have to admit that he pales in comparison when it comes to weirdness.Beard and Pearl are real coaches.
May is a mini-Crean.
I actually don’t want anyone this next go-around that has any ties to IU basketball. It’s a defunct brand. Bring in someone who can start a new image.
My only prediction when it comes to who IU hires is that it will be someone who makes approximately half of the folks on this board lose their shit.
I sure don’t get the Crean spaz vibes from May. He’d be a massive upgrade but not sold that he’s the best option either.Beard and Pearl are real coaches.

May has taken the worst basketball squad in the league to the top at a football school in one year. Cignetti took the worst football team in the league to the top at a basketball school in one year. Are you kidding.? What the hell are you talking about? Are you comparing Michigan basketball to IU football?
You'll be calling for them to fire McCollum from very early on. Kinda why I might enjoy it.Yes he has.
Gig took the worst program in college football history and took it to the CFP! Absolutely no comparison.May has taken the worst basketball squad in the league to the top at a football school in one year. Cignetti took the worst football team in the league to the top at a basketball school in one year.
No I wouldn’t, I just think he is a big risk. You'll be calling for them to fire McCollum from very early on. Kinda why I might enjoy it.
Not you.... Look againDo I mean that much to you? Flattering.
