Al didn't have a good game. It happens. Davis didn't score, but so what? He is a big body that came in to rest Morgan and contributed in other ways. Morgan scored enough for the entire front line.

McBob isn't the MVP of the team. but he is important even if he doesn't shoot. His role isn't to shoot. Anything he scores is a bonus.

McBob is the player the team passes to when the ball needs to quickly be reversed without someone turning it over or deciding a long 3 pointer early in the shot clock is a good idea. He is a good safety valve when someone is in trouble. Again, he won't turn the ball over. He doesn't get assists, but he sets up the play so others can. He defends on the perimeter like a guard and is fearless enough to mix it up anywhere on the court.

With the slow starts and early turnovers we seem to suffer through, I would like to see him start again in place of Smith or more likely Durham. Smith is better at receiving the ball and scoring and not setting others up like McBob typically does. McBob won't commit the first or early turnover and will help get the ball to Romeo, Juwan or Rob to score. He doesn't hurt the team by not shooting because he is looking to get the ball to our best scoring options. He knows he is the 5th option and is happy to pass the ball to the ones with the best chance to score.

Can we move on from McBob and his lack of shooting? It is frustrating when people look at a box score to determine how valuable a player is.
