Doesnt really help us or make me feel better unless we start winning games like this ourselves. I would rather Wisconsin to stay terrible and for us to win then to feel better about a 20 point thumping.
The loss at Wisconsin sucked. No doubt. But the point is that one game does not determine another or define a season.
IU still has issues. The Arkansas game proved that. But most wanted to jump off of the bridge because IU laid a turd in Madison against what most said was a "terrible" team. It happens, Bucky is a decent team and IU still has growth potential.
Actually, it does help us. Anytime a B1G can win on the road this time of the year it is a big help for all the other B1G teams... including IU.
Not unless we can get enough wins to get in the tourney unless you are worried about our NIT seeding.
Holtmann apparently sucks.
Hard to believe a coach in year 3 would have losses to west virginia, Wisconsin, and minnesota, all before the first weekend in january.
Here we go again. Same ****, new day. Archie isn’t being judged unfairly. Not in the slightest. The product on the floor is terrible right now, and he knows it.
Wisconsin’s trajectory at this point of the season is better than IU’s. Think about that.

Interesting what a bunch of slow guys with good shooting touches and playing with sound defensive and offensive fundamentals can achieve. Wisconsin has been successful with average athletes and "boring" basketball.
I remember the first time I heard that term. It was Mark Grace being interviewed by Jim Rome.
To be honest, after watching the rest of the Big 10 in action, I think we've been the least impressive so far this year.
So the moral of the story here is that we are not as bad as we thought we were because the team that stomped us put on a good run at TN and at Ohio st. When this translates into more wins then I will be happy. Not going to dump on the team yet and Im not going to over celebrate even a win at Maryland today. Lets see how everything shakes out at the end of the season.
The entire IU team could use a slumpbuster. Maybe you have something going here.
The real question is would Holtman do better with this current team? For me it's hard to judge this because it is hypothetical. Would IU suddenly become great outside shooters just because Holtman is there? I doubt it. On the other hand could there be some coaching schemes that would make IU better under him? It's possible, but very hard to be definite on.
