Didn’t Galloway and Leal

Yeah I remember when Woodson became coach he said something about wanting to shoot the 3. Leal replied that he was excited about that and he’s hit like 4 threes total in his career

And if he doesn't poke the ball away with about 2:48 to go there's a good chance we end up on the other end of that final score...

Can't even appreciate him when he's helping us win a big game...
Agree. The game flipped with Leal’s defense and started the run when we were down 10. Happy for Leal and Gallo. They both impacted the game in a very impactful and meaningful way and in their last and final game in candy stripes at AH. Happy for them and good for Woody on going out with a win.

Leal gets the most out of his abilities and at least plays like the game matters.
Contrast that with our 5-star McD’s guy that I never want to see at the foul line when anything is on the line. We got more bang for our buck out of Leal this year than most of these other guys.

Remember people were posting after Leal’s sophomore yr that he should transfer cuz he will never see the floor and he could get playing time elsewhere. Thought then the kid really loves IU and what a great teammate as your 12th man, always coming to practice giving his best to make others better and who amongst us would love to sit on the bench for 4 yrs in assembly hall

Unless they’re playing Auburn

And-

He'll probably have a crummy game against Oregon too because he doesn't match up well with their speed...; the fact remains however that his "hustle plays" have kept us in a lot of games and/or helped Win them during the last third of this season... He's certainly helped us a Lot more than the two overpaid, overrated, over-Hyped, sure thing All Big Ten'rs, we now have coming off the bench at his position...

He reminds of the type of "glue" players we used to have who you could count on to play smart, tough, basketball while understanding their role within the TEAM... I'll miss watching his style of play... Pure Effort... A disappearing trait...
