Geo Baker that’s a point guardI sure hope not. We've been soooooo good since he's returned. Dude isn't a B10 point guard at all. And for those with reading comprehension issues, I don't wish the kid any ill will and hope he's okay.
Not that I want him to be hurt, bProbably out for 10 weeks!
Not that I want him hurt, but being able to step away from this train wreck for the rest of the season may be a good thing for him.banged his head on a pick, left the game and has not been back. Uh oh.

Rob is a good Big Ten point guard. Starting at point as a freshman and has been solid.
The team has thrown in the towel. I don't know why, but it isn't Phinisee's fault, that is for sure.

If you say so. This team has no point guards. Rob, Green and Durham are all awful. I'm fine with time proving me right/wrong. Again, I like the guys, not trying to attack them, but results and constant turnovers when it matters don't lie.
Had a bad game tonight. Reminded me of D Greene.Rob is a good point guard. He is someone to build this team around going forward.
F.U.He's one of your few bright spots. He can defend and hit the open three.
He'll be a good one. I hope he is ok. I've followed his career and wish Purdue would have gotten him.
By the time he is a junior he will be one of the top PG in the conferenceIf you say so. This team has no point guards. Rob, Green and Durham are all awful. I'm fine with time proving me right/wrong. My concerns are Archie’s historical offensive efficiency numbers. Never a top 30 offense and actually some pretty poor ones at Dayton, not good.By the time he is a junior he will be one of the top PG in the conference
Archie is a defensive coach. Packline works well with the right personnel. My concerns are Archie’s historical offensive efficiency numbers. Never a top 30 offense and actually some pretty poor ones at Dayton, not good.
At Dayton he had a very good point guard in Schoosie Smith who went from averaging 4 points as a freshman to scoring 14 points as a senior earning first team all conference. My concerns are Archie’s historical offensive efficiency numbers. You are not talking about certain herbal properties are you?Had a bad game tonight. Reminded me of D Greene.
He did have a bad game. But his worst moments were when he was stuck playing with, let us say, players not of a very high caliber of talent. Rob is by far and away the least of our concerns and has a very bright future.Had a bad game tonight. Reminded me of D Greene.
?? He’s been great even after the injury. We basically have 3 players Morgan, Romeo and phinisee. If you say so. This team has no point guards. Rob, Green and Durham are all awful. Nobody here is complaining about not going to the final four, but they have lost 7 straight soon to be 8 followed by 9 and 10 at home...in Archie’s second yearHas anyone noticed the common theme of the teams doing well in in B10? Upperclassmen in the backcourt...Even Yogi struggled as a freshman against a much weaker B10. Some people on here just expect too much too soon....not that the current stretch hasn't been a disappointment, but it's not near on the level some are treating it as (and going to the games, the fan support hasn't really been there at all this year).
Hey! I know that one! You misspelled the second word, but I got it anyway!F.U.

Funny: "...Rob, Green and Durham are all awful. I'm fine with time proving me right/wrong. Again, I like the guys, not trying to attack them..."
Sorry you don't understand the difference in evaluating someone's performance and how you think of them personally. I still don't think any of them are B10 level point guards. Hope I'm wrong.

Personally or not, saying someone's performance is "awful" sounds a lot like attacking them.Sorry you don't understand the difference in evaluating someone's performance and how you think of them personally. I still don't think any of them are B10 level point guards. Hope I'm wrong.
I would like to think that all IU fans know that veteran guards is a key to success. Always has been.
On the other hand, Knight used to demand performance from his team so that they didn't lose 7 in a row, regardless of who was playing. A lot of people who remember that era are still here hoping to see it return someday.

Veteran point guards haven't been needed for success in a long time, maybe since Knight's era. See Tre Jones at Duke or any point guard at UK. Sure, having a senior point guard that values the ball and doesn't turn it over all the time is valuable, but there are plenty of younger point guards that are more than capable of performing at a high level. Hell, Yogi was solid his freshmen year.
See Casius Winston. See Anthony Cowen. See Glynn Watson.
Any guard at UK? OK, I'll take Sean Woods, freshman year.
Yogi had scorers and veterans around him.
It has changed and not all of it is for the goodOMG, sorry I argued with you. I was talking about basketball over the last decade, Sean Woods? Seriously? I'm tapping out dude. You win. Guess the game hasn't changed at all in the last 30+ years. I guess I'll just wait until we have a senior lead team like in 76 before we win again. Lol
