I have been critical of him this past year, but I want to take time to give him his credit he is due. I really thought he was going to quit and transfer after the suspension. He didn’t, he came back better and played harder and had a much more positive impact on the games. Hopefully he carries that onto next year. I could see him having a similar senior year as Robert Johnson if he continues his path to wanting to get better. Props to Devonte for making me eat a little crow.

Good post. Green will always have his negatives, but when he plays well he is a talent.

We don't know what will happen in the off season, but generally it is a good idea to bring back senior guards.

Still a mixed bag. For all the good things he did the one enduring image from the loss yesterday was the one-handed 1/2 court pass he made when we trailed 63-56 and OSU had just been called for a foul to give us the ball. They put on a press, he makes the stupid pass that gets stolen and they hit a 3.

Instead of cutting it to 5 (or maybe even 4), we’re down 10. Plays like that have killed this team all year long.

If u watch presser Devonte gives Archie a little love tap on the shoulder; my guess is he stays and in fact Devonte may not have been the problem this year

I thought Shon Morris had a great line about Green. "He's like nuclear energy. When he plays under control he can light up a building; when he's out of control it's Chernobyl." Or something to that effect.
I ran into Shon in the pre-TSA line at Ohare a few yrs back. Really good guy, I started recalling games when he played and he lit up...had a great 10 min NCAA hoops discussion. Not an exciting, high-affect kind of guy but a real solid person who knows Xs and Os. He even hinted that he had great respect for RMK, and laughed at my reference of "whose your daddy now?!?"

He’s going to have his faults, but my point was as much about his character and maturity. Even with that, he was much better the 2nd half of the season than he was the first half.

But I’ve been told all year that he was the problem. You mean that wasn’t true? Shocker!
