*9-15 could go a lot of different ways. I think 8 is all the BT gets in this year.

Commits to Washington! Does Washington move up into the upper BT?

They're going to be good.

Deep at guard position with highly regarded PGs in Quimari Peterson and Claude, although Claude seems somewhat overrated as the #31 transfer in 247. 6'4" Soph Diallo who was a top 50 guy in last years HS class. Athletic but struggled big-time from 3. And Wesley Yates from USC.

They also added a 6'10" German recruit named Hannes Heinback who looks pretty good.

They'll be one of the more interesting teams in the BT to watch.

I’ll take DeVries. Check back in a few years to see who’s right. No way to know today.
May is doing what many coaches do after moving up. Chasing post players. As I've repeated ad nauseum, that shit does not win championships. His best season was when he had a multiple perimeter threats. Last year Michigan's guards and wings sucked balls. This year he picked up Cadeau, which should improve them, even though he's not much of a scorer but the rest are still trash.

Devries is sticking with the same type of team builds that he's always had. One focused on perimeter play, guard penetration, quick hits and shooters. ... that's the one thing I'm very pleased with. He gets modern basketball. Let's hope he wins with it.

The least successful play in basketball by percentage is a post up. Closing games with a post scoring focus is fool's gold. Too many moving parts, too many schemes that can stop it. Better to have multiple triple threat scorers who can create and also create for others.

Outside/In >>>> Inside/out.

Been preaching similar things since about 2 games in to Woodys time at IU. I’m glad we have a coach now that is willing to force it.
