Not signing anytime soon and will be watching teams to help determine his college choice. Not sure if this is good or bad for IU

He’ll eventually end up at Maryland because: he’ll have a so-so year and Woody will look for a better transfer in the protocol. Queen will end up with less $$ and regret not taking a deal now.

Smart move. Waiting to see if Ware/Reneau shows out and jump to the NBA. While Reneau is unlikely to make the jump after this year, I really like what I've seen from him OFFENSIVELY.

I can’t think of any scenario where it’s good…
He is being prudent... he wants playing time. It's good for IU in the sense that he and his handlers see we have a good front line and they are wary of what time will be available next season. He also may be holding out for more NIL loot. The only bad scenario is if he fears conpetition.

One message Mr. Queen should hear that should make his decision easier

Then you can't think. Delaying allows him to watch the development of Ware, Reneau, Sparks, and Mbako under Woody. At the same time he can watch TJD use the skills Woody taught him at the NBA level. So far in the short NBA season, TJD has received positive reviews regarding his preparedness.

I really don't think TJD is on his radar. The kid is taking his time. Why rush....

It was played away from Maryland, in Ashville, N.C.. Maryland still can't win away from home! World beaters at home. By the way, Davidson would have beaten IU too!
Damn I was in Asheville last night. Should have hollered at JG! He won’t be starting long lol.

First round exit by Purdue? Davidson 68, Purdue 64.

I'll bet TJD is entirely on his radar... but so are Ware, Reanu and MM. I think he wants to watch both seasons play out, but I also think he's especially interested in how many of those 3 are staying or gone next year.
Valid point. I mean, if they all did come back, where would Queen get his minutes? I actually prefer what he’s doing vs the kid who announces a decision in the fall then re-opens his recruitment in the spring.
I wonder if Houston is a bigger threat for Queen than anyone is saying…after the past few days, I don’t think they should be discounted now.

I guess I would prefer someone who wants to play for IU. Weird notion, I know.

Ware obviously didn't want to play for IU...until he did. And McNeely didn't want to play for IU....until he did. Mbako obviously didn't want to play for IU...until he...wait for it....noticed that it was too crowded at Duke.

Guess we should get rid of NIL and just take applications for the IU team so we get only those who have always wanted to play for IU.
