They have also been last in scoring defense in every season under Wilson and have averaged giving up 40.8 points per game in conference.
I think one could argue it really doesn't matter who IU could bring in to replace Wilson. There is literally nowhere they could go but up on defense. Just take some time to look at defensive numbers during Wilson's tenure. It is beyond ugly. The defense leaves the offense zero margin for error and gives IU little chance for any remotely consistent win opportunities.
