It's more likely that we preemptively upgraded his contract at our end in order to be certain we kept him...

It seems clear that he can command even more than what we're paying him even with the latest upgrade...

He had the #3 D in the nation along with the # 1 run D... Nearly every other school out there wants him...

We're lucky* he and his family seem to like it here and that he decided to stay...
