Nice. WTH.

Nice. WTH.
I will say it Tillman1......Nice. WTF. Well guys that is 3 for 3. All three of the 4* recruits from Indy a couple of years ago are not playing in an IU uniform.....Lathum, Kenney and Allen. Who'da thunk it? Handling the OSU offense was going to be tough enough with DL playing, without him---wow!

Yep...across the board in all sports.
Your comment is completely irresponsible. "All" sports? Perhaps you could acquaint us with the "problems" in swimming, soccer, track, volleyball, and so on. I doubt that you can name one "problem sport" other than football or basketball, and even in those sports the problems are a few individuals and not whole teams.

If the disciplinary process is anything comparable
to Notre Dame's situation last year, the ethics board will take at least 2 months to physically convene, minimum.

Plagarism, if that is what it was, is usually viewed
rather dimly in the academic community.

Irresponsible... A little dramatic eh??!! Yeah...they don't win enough!! That's my problem.

So now we're down to one (Fant) of the six 4-stars we got that year?
Never had six 4* recruits in a year. Prolly only had six in the last ten years or so. Pretty sure in 2013 we had four. But you are correct, Fant is the only one dressing for Saturdays game from that year.

ESPN had us at 6.
Frankly, every team loses players during the season for a variety of reasons, usually injury. Here"s a chance for Green, Heffern, and McCray to step up.
As for Latham"s issues, privacy laws don't permit public announcement, and that is how it should be.

It is painful to see such a good talent is not able to get it together. These young men may not come from totally stable backgrounds, I don't know. But they are wasting rare opportunities and anytime you see that in life it is hard to watch. Hope he learns from it.

Football version of the "Movement"

Why do you need to know?
Rabid fans want to know. When we (OSU) lost Bosa and 3 other players for the opener, we all wanted info and everyone was "guessing." The most popular rumor was Bosa missed classes and the others had to do with pot. (just rumors-but repeated all over CBus) We will never know. Really nutzoid fans (like I am) get to know a lot about our team and are curious. Even I wonder what Latham did. Rumors will fly around, but they are usually pretty locked down and never known until leaks down the road. After religion and my family, I live for college FB and want to know what he did! Maybe you would relate if it were an IU hoops player. You may be digging in for more info!! eg-if it were Yogi!
I forgot to say, sorry about Latham. I want IU to be full strength for the game to make it as competitive as possible. He was a hell of a DT. I think a 300 lbr. Good fans don't want to wish bad luck on the opposing teams, and I am a good fan.
I will say, my post-concussion issues (from FB) contributes to long posts! I will be gone from your forum after Saturday! You can also ignore my posts. I just love CFB and getting different fan perspectives before games.

Problem is that when other teams lose big players, they often can simply plug and play another guy. This is a bigger hit than other defenses take.

Not really interested in what O$U fans want.
That's very nice. Thanks sir, I'll have another. Don't get to edgy about the game. It is just a game. I also want to THANK YOU very much for using O$U. I never do that, since it is bragginAbsolutely g. I appreciate it though. YES, I have the issue of Sports Illustrated NATIONAL cover (NOT regional) with OSU highlighted as the main article subject about having FAR and away the LARGEST athletic department, largest athletic budget, most national championships in all sports (combined of course--eg-crew, pistol, wrestling, tennis and of course the big ones football and hoops--we have tasted the sweet success of NC's in every college sport! Can you believe that??!!) I had to brag a tad there, but appreciate you doing it for me! I forget over and over to use TO$U. You DID forget the capital "T" for THE O$U. Try to remember that. I love the $ sign you used and I forget it all the time. Also, I have to be somewhat upset Coach Meyer is still behind only Saban in salary. That will change soon. Our FB coordinators are paid more than the average Big 10 head coach and it is necessary to maintain the extremely high level we do. Absolutely a must to never forget the $$$$$. I may change my user name to Buck$!

Guy isn't being snarky, no real need to be snarky back to him, even if he is an O$U fan.
Thanks. I didn't even blink at his/her post. We are used to having targets on our backs, whether it be the players or fans. I know I tend to post rather lengthy, but enjoy college football beyond a normal level. I even wanted to open a discussion about Indy places I used to frequent when I lived there. eg-Ike and Jonesey's (I know Eric the owner) St. Elmo's, et. al. However, I get long in my posts about CFB due to my passion, the fact that I played, and I suffered 4 serious concussions! I type like I am talking to you in person. The good thing is you can ignore my posts. I did see he was being rude, but also see the positive in reminding me about a usage I had forgotten! TO$U! I forgot about the $ sign used on the national SI cover issue about our athletic dept. Just wishing Latham the best of luck and never want ill will upon an opponent. The poster is probabaly having a bad day.

Im not edgy about the game...Im just annoyed with O$U fans in general. Every one I have met are willing to give you their opinion, tell you why their opinion is better than anyone else's.

O$U fans are quite possibly the most annoying people in the world...with O$U football fans ranking at the top, barely edging out Kentucky Basketball fans.

So again, I really dont care what an O$U fan has to say...and it has nothing to do with the game on Saturday.

Again....annoying.

You have used too many words to say absolutely nothing.

What year were the DL from Georgia (Swann?) and Taj Williams? They were both four star recruits

That is extreme generalization and very opinionated. You know the entire college basketball fan base and football as well. Maybe you could be kind enough to share some more of your knowledge. You must know more than Herbstreit about CFB or any analyst in hoops. I am amazed at how well-rounded you must be! You have obviously traveled to many venues, SEC, Big 10, etc. I could certainly learn from you! I have only been to 10 of our conference stadiums. I did play for coach Hayes and believe I know a bit about CFB. You may be a former All-American or a great former coach though. How do I know? I am not about to debate someone so well-traveled and extremely intelligent about fan bases across the entire nation. You obviously are very confident and feel you couldn't possibly learn anything from anyone else. Wow. Lastly, Herbie is an OSU former player and captain of OSU (don't kid yourself about him not being an OSU fan.) Do you turn the channel EVERY time he is on Gameday or any CFB show?? I hope so, if you are being honest about OSU fans and not caring what they say. You also express you know a lot about O$U fans (I forgot again to proudly use the $ sign) so you must have listened to them an awful lot in the past. Is this a very sudden change in your listening preferences? Lastly, you have listed your personal most disliked fan bases, and for some reason they are the two teams that have dominated your team in both major sports. Could there possibly be something to this??? I also glanced at your all-time record vs Purdue in basketball and was amazed to see they lead in victories. That is shocking but I only remembered you have more NC's than Purdue. You probably know the win/loss summary but I will remind you-Purdue 78 wins & IU 38 wins. I am shocked and had no idea it is that lopsided. Big 10 championships Purdue leads IU-8 to 2. I believe when I glance back at this forum the week of the Purdue football game you may even be more "worked up." Calm down buddy. It is not life or death and you will never ever surpass O$U on football. Don't have a heart attack over this.
Focus on Purdue your true and possibly realistic rival. You have gone too far. I have been fair and not degraded any IU fans. You are setting a "new tone" for what I formerly thought of IU. I will and do realize you do NOT represent the majority of IU fans or even the super fans who take time to post on boards. There are always "those." You even have your "own" members posting to you about being snarky. I will come back after the game and quite possibly be snarky with ya pal.

Kind of funny that you stress opinions. Kirk Herbstreit, you may not know (likely do not) was a captain at O$U as was his dad. He is likely the biggest O$U fan alive. He has to quell that for his job of course. I think more people in our country regard his opinions about CFB more than anyone alive. (I DO KNOW his salary at ESPN clearly reflects that!) Funny huh?? Do you flip the channel every time he is on? If so, you miss a lot of CFB!

You should have stopped while you were ahead. The chest-thumping is exactly what Rangeline was referring to and is exactly why guys like you tend to give your fanbase a bad name. Do us all a favor and either tone it down to a more respectful tone or find somewhere else to post for the week. While IU football doesn't have the pedigree that Ohio State does, I wouldn't exactly be going gaga with your team's performance so far this season. You managed to pull away from Virgina Tech only after their starter was knocked out of the game. Northern Illinois gave the Buckeyes a bit of a scare too. IU has given OSU a couple of scares as well over the past couple of seasons as well. I'm not going to sit here and say that IU beats OSU, especially now that our star DL is suspended for the game. But they have the kind of game plan that could give the Buckeyes fits.

I'd say good luck, but I'd be lying. I hope it's a good game and I hope the Hoosiers come out on top.

Haters going to hate...I love when ignorant people hate...You are telling me you wouldn't love to be in OSU shoes a top of the mountain instead of being at the bottom?...Fact is you would love it if Indiana was where the Bucks are year in year out....If not you are lying.

Hey, you are pretty smart. Are you the big bald guy that paints himself silver and wears a necklace full of nuts around his neck? You just seem like the type.
