Honestly, that would depend. What were the circumstances? Was there alcohol involved? What precipitated it? Who started the physical altercation? Was it an isolated incident? How extensive was it?

I’ve never struck a woman in my life. I certainly don’t condone it and I’ve taught my sons that it is never OK to do it. I’m not saying it was OK in Beard’s circumstance.

But we all do things we regret doing. It’s certainly possible that the sum total of his is a dealbreaker. But, from what I’ve read about it, I don’t think that’s the case.
