Damezi

he's looked pretty lost on defense during the games. who knows what's been happening at practice. He's not a PG and the team needs Romeo out there 30+ min/game scoring 20, so with the other guys healthy again and Durham being more assertive, not much time left for him to play. A little surprised he was a DNP last 2 games.

So which of them are playing better than he is? None..the answer is none. Can’t believe you fail to see that.
He did make a few 3 pointers while he was in there. He will play a bigger role in year 2 or 3. He isn't ready defensively and he won't be part of the rotation the rest of the year. It is hard to play when you haven't practiced or played with the rotation players. Chemistry is more about trust of where a player will be and what they will do when they get the ball. Damezi, Forrester and Moore don't have that connected feeling with the top 8 or 9.

Also, defense isn't an individual action, it is a team function. One person not being on the same page with the other 4 can change a defense badly. Not knowing what to do and no experience playing with the rotation would weaken the defense. Remember the Crean defenses?

Green and Davis are complete garbage. They literally do nothing to make this tram better. Mcroberts made 1 hustle play last night. That’s it. Durham didn’t exactly play well either last night.

This is what happens when pre-pubescent twits with acute cerebral trauma acquire internet access. Any fool knows that IU's tram is maintained by the baseball team, not the basketball team. What a dope.

Durham wears jersey #1 in case you were mistaking him with another player. The only part I would agree with you on is that Green had a bad second half. Purdue would like to have you as a fan.

His defense isn't close to the same level, they all defend at a high level. We know this about Cam, if you can't defend you won't play. He values defense over anything else and Damezi has a ways to go in that department.

That is what I'm thinking. Archie has been pissed at his shot taking and not running the correct offense.
A reporter asked about Damezi's key 3 point shot from the corner after one of the games. Archie's body language and expression indicated that while he made the shot, it wasn't what they wanted in the possession. I think it speaks of the trust that a coach has that a player will make the right play if they are put in the game.

I have noticed a few times, especially at the end of the NW game in the TO huddle he looks very disinterested in what was going on. I know he wasn't going in the game but still didn't look very good

From there we can move on to something with fewer pictures and smaller print.

You posted, "Durham didn’t exactly play well either last night."

Thank you. Now I know I'm watching basketball effectively.

Actually, I was thinking the opposite -- the usual magnets for criticism (Green, Smith, Davis, McRoberts) have been getting so many minutes because they are playing defense like Miller wants, not so much the offense.

Even Fitzner (who can't seem to catch a bounce pass below his armpits) and Moore had some good defensive play during critical times last night. But I don't have any specific memories of Anderson's defense. I can't wait for Anderson to get back in the lineup, because we're gonna need him too.

Thank you, this was the purpose of the post, to get a functional response like this one.

You had quite a few functional responses until you showed your ass and called players “garbage”. Show some class and basketball knowledge if you post here....or better yet...don’t type, just read.
Referring to anyone on the team as'' garbage'' has always been a peeve of mine and ridiculous. A serial killer or on that range is one thing, referring to another person as garbage because of a basketball game? Just go away and you should be banned. Saying someone had a bad game is one thing but the term garbage just shows you to be a pig and total a**hole over a game

In my opinion, Anderson struggles in one on one perimeter defense. He keeps leaving his feet. I'm sure he will continue improving, but as far as minutes go, I think the reason is a question of defense more so than offense. His shooting is a highlight for him, certainly.

I’ll get your participation trophy in the mail. This isn’t life or death here, it’s basketball. If I played like garbage I would expect someone to call it what it is..garbage. Funny you get mad about name calling and then end your response with...name calling. Nicely done Mr. Charmin.

Saying someone played like garbage vs referring to them as garbage are different . You can stuff your trophy in your a$$

First time posting in six months and you start trashing Players like you're an authority on them and the Program when your message history clearly attests otherwise. With posts proclaiming Alford was going to replace TC and that RL's signing would guarantee IU a top 15 ranking before the Season even started, easy to see why you disappear for extended periods.

It's not life or death, or even basketball, just a message board - and the message you sent with your "garbage" comment is that you don't respect the Players, the Team or the Program. Anyone who throws or posts shit shouldn't act so surprised and indignant when someone throws it back.

Don’t start back pedaling now. You stated the players were garbage. Calling another poster soft is quite ironic since you began the thread with a legit question and when you didn’t get answers you were looking for turned into a garbage throwing twit. Maybe you should take another 6 months before you find free WiFi to ask a deep thought question.

i notice miller and staff has already gotten him to raise his release point

Hey dumbass I did get an answer, and I thanked the person in the thread that actually gave a legitimate answer. Read the thread before you lost and you won’t look like such a dumbass. Green playing true to form and absolutely killing us. I’m sure this got your panties in a bunch so make sure to take care of that before you make another dumbass lost with zero substance.
“Before you lost”...”Another dumbass lost”..sorry I don’t follow what you are trying to say.
