Everyone is right from time to time. Not sure what this means…but that Ballo comment should mean he’s “done” as any sort IU person.
Ballo will be fine. And he isn’t some meek teenager. But publicly calling an IU player a name like that… he’s an awful person. And IU doesn’t need to be associated with that trash in any way.
Ballo isn’t even one of our issues. He is what he is, protect the rim, get 10-12 pts and 8-10 boards.
My concern is why has Caryle been so bad?

Most everyone knows the main answer to that. Surprises me that he and Rice chose to be a part of it.
I didn’t word that well. I’m trying to say it doesn’t matter that sometimes he is right (I hear people say this to defend him), like you said everyone is. He makes a lot of garbage comments towards IU and spreads rumors. I doubt he would go to an IU game, but I hope he is banned.
His career is down to its last legs — he went from coaching and ESPN to a tiny podcast and a show on some obscure AM station. Ideally people keep ignoring him.
Lots on here had him putting up huge #s but I just dont see it, especially with the defensive hustle he brings. That Stanford team was shitty last year. A Tamar Bates type scoring to factor in. His defense was gold in my book. I hope he turns it around.
Tyme has gotten creative on X in explaining this away. It started as Woody didn’t turn the roster as fast as he should have. Then is was all about the guards. Now the S&C coach is the problem.
To my eyes, I see a team that doesn’t believe in the way it is being coached to play.
He understands algorithms and influence on social media. His shtick is rage bait so we talk about him and his posts get seen.
You can make a decent living off of your podcasts/radio/tv broadcasts if you don’t mind saying provocative and shitridden comments on social media. People will hate watch/listen to it.
Edit: I should have said, someone TAUGHT him how to understand social media, and he is doing his best impression of what was taught to him. He's not even close to intelligent enough to figure it out on his own.

I warned you all he wasn't a shooter and wouldn't be the star people claimed him to be.
I like his defense but he isn't a savior.
Galloway should be held accountable for bad play but also should be a starter. He is the only one who could be a current leader. Rice may become that, but not yet.
Bring Carlyle off the bench for energy and focus him on turning defense into offense.
And start playing Leal more. Leal can hit shots and played pretty well last year.
