Wow... if that number is remotely accurate, that sets a crazy number for other guys like Conwell, Dent, etc... Yikes.just announced. $1M for the year
Inflation? 🤣🤔No offense to Cupps, who I always liked, but if that is even close to accurate, then things have gotten silly.
May work out to $10,000 per point scored for the season.
Or we find out he brings more to the table than we ever saw under Woodson. No offense to Cupps, who I always liked, but if that is even close to accurate, then things have gotten silly.

He is going to have to work on that shot of his. Terrible shooting mechanics.Or we find out he brings more to the table than we ever saw under Woodson.
I like cupps, but that is absolutely ridiculous. These donors must be printing their own money. What the hell is a top 10 recruit pulling in these days?just announced. $1M for the year

I don’t mean to run the kid down. But what I saw was an undersized, limited athleticism kid who couldn’t shoot the ball. I don’t understand this at all. I thought he might drop down to a mid major honestly. He is going to have to work on that shot of his. Terrible shooting mechanics.
C'mon. It's not April 1st already is it?just announced. $1M for the year

$1M riding B1G pine > free shoes & 20 min/game playing for going-nowhere-U ???I don’t mean to run the kid down. But what I saw was an undersized, limited athleticism kid who couldn’t shoot the ball. I don’t understand this at all. I thought he might drop down to a mid major honestly.
none at all. He's not making $1M., that doesn't make sense.
I would be surprised if we don't see a much different looking Cupps for OSU. But damn... can't fathom he's commanding THAT big of a bag.Or we find out he brings more to the table than we ever saw under Woodson.

According to our newly-departed strength and conditioning coach, Cupps was the strongest, fittest player in program history on a pound for pound basis. That statement alone should have earned him a pink slip. Nevermind the annual greased-up beauty shots of players touting 0% body fat and 44-inch verticals.I wish him well. He needs strength terribly and experience. He and Lander are 2 physically not ready players I can remember. Both couldn’t guard anyone or get around anyone while on offense
If he cracks 100, that'd be a new career high. So there's that.No offense to Cupps, who I always liked, but if that is even close to accurate, then things have gotten silly.

ever heard of Klutch sports? sometimes 1 moves proceeds others, look for OSU to be active.Wow... if that number is remotely accurate, that sets a crazy number for other guys like Conwell, Dent, etc... Yikes.
how about deflections? He also had terrible passing stats.
he got half that, and there is only a slim chance of 1 player returning from last year's roster and it will be a shocker to all if it comes to fruition. Devries cleaned house; hope it was the right move.I would be surprised if we don't see a much different looking Cupps for OSU. But damn... can't fathom he's commanding THAT big of a bag.
Agreed, sounds crazy.I would be surprised if we don't see a much different looking Cupps for OSU. But damn... can't fathom he's commanding THAT big of a bag.
I'm guessing yes. On a pure talent basis there might have been some guys you'd think he would want to keep but they may not have bought in to his approach or demands after talking with them, or vice versa. Chemistry matters too.Devries cleaned house; hope it was the right move.
Yeah most of these guys were paid mercenaries playing for the money. That's what Woodrow wanted.the Bahamas trip last year will be the most significant event that influences the next 10 years of IU basketball. It got a coach fired a coach hired, and coach hired saw and heard enough things that led him to believe a total flush was needed. staying and going discussion were 1 sided.
if you need to move on, we will help with the process is a conversation, he had a lot of themI'm guessing yes. he could be a viable backup point guardLol Ohio State must ne desperate Cupps is not a big ten player.
every player is a paid mercenary to some extent. I think Devries saw a lack of discipline and culture, that led him to believe a complete reboot is necessary.Yeah most of these guys were paid mercenaries playing for the money. That's what Woodrow wanted.
He also knows that expectations are high and he may feel that his best chances for a good first season are with a complete team of guys he has picked and no vestiges of the old regime. A lot of people here said that a complete reboot was what this program needed. Assistants, staff, players, everything.every player is a paid mercenary to some extent. I think Devries saw a lack of discipline and culture, that led him to believe a complete reboot is necessary.
We need players who want to play for the name on the front of the jersey not the number of zeros on the check.every player is a paid mercenary to some extent. I think Devries saw a lack of discipline and culture, that led him to believe a complete reboot is necessary.
Yes drifting after you enter the air will not get the ball to go in. Straight up young man. I do wish him well.He is going to have to work on that shot of his. Terrible shooting mechanics.
