How much was his NIL money at Duke? Probably more than a rookie contract.
He'll also get more endorsement money... He's a "New Balance" guy, I believe, so he likely isn't getting the full benefit of that endorsement yet, playing for a Nike school...as an example.
What will be one of the bigger factors, to keep pulling guys like Flagg to the NBA as soon as they're eligible, is its one year closer to their first fully negotiated contract. And for a guy like Flagg... that'll be 30-40+ million per year... probably.

Don’t think so, Caitlyn is a game changer in the WNBA in terms of people attending games and endorsements, how many more people watched the NBA to see Victor Wembanaya (or however you spell his name)? A guy that tall and agile, don’t think he changed the NBA that much or raised everyone salary or how the nba now travels like Caitlyn did

You'd have to ask my wife about that. But I do point this out. When Jokic became the best player in the NBA do you remember those on ESPN harassing him about it? I remember Kendrick Perkins specifically making racial comments about him. So if this Flagg becomes the best player is it beyond reasonable thought some will point to his race and not in a positive way? Do you remember when Dennis Rodman saying that Larry Bird was just an ordinary player and it was only his race which made him special? Isaiah Thomas went along with that at first but later had to walk it back.

So, what is idiotic about what he said? A quick Google search confirms that Flagg has a girlfriend (Lola Ressler who plays soccer at Wake). Rodman did make those comments about Bird during the NBA playoffs, and when asked IT did say he would have to agree with Rodman.
