Cooper Bybee to walk-on

Shooting percentages are high!

Could replace the need for Vijay, if he goes to Detroit w Coach Davis, rather than hanging around with Archie.

Vijay has already said he is staying.

Bybee played less than 14mpg and averaged 7.1 ppg at OCC. I doubt he'll see more than mop up time.

That assessment of game time is likely accurate. Helping in practice can be underrated tho. If he can play defense, and shoot, maybe a Matt Roth. Ok, I am grasping at straws.

where did you see that? i only heard miller tried to talk him into staying

Que to Tas and Hondo to call you ‘douche’ and ‘liar’...

You get called a douche liar because you are one...

Finish breaking down that Mcbob interview yet? The one you said you listened to and then claimed the kid said the assistants don’t have defined roles, no one knows what Elston does, and he doesn’t think Archie will win big...

Tell lies, get called a douche liar. And it’s that easy!

Why would I call someone a liar on something I couldn't provide evidence on? I wouldn't - and haven't. (Again, it's these things called FACTS)

Let me demonstrate this to you: Are YOU saying Vijay isn’t coming back? If so, The Daily Hoosier calls you a liar. Not me.

Call you ‘douche’? That's @hondo314 MO - although, if he were to label you as such here, it would be apropos.

I'm sure he provided a link, right?

Curious ... do the real blue blood programs have walk-ons? Will IU EVER be blue blood again?

I sent a message to my cousin to ask about Cooper, but I think he is on a cruise. He was an assistant at OCC for the last 2 years before recently accepting a high school head coaching position in his home town.

Cooper would have played behind Jalen Moore and played on a really good OCC team. I saw OCC play, but don't remember much about him except that he was from Ellettsville.

OCC has had good teams. This year's NJCAA National Champion, Vincennes University, lost two regular season games in the last 2 years. Both losses were to OCC. My cousin coached at VU before going to OCC. Coincidence?

Cool, let us know what he says when he responds. I'd love to hear the thoughts of sometime that coached him.

My cousin recruited him. He was over looked because he was only a little over 6' and played at a small school (actually sounds like my cousin).

He can "flat out shoot" but won't be much help beyond that. He is a hard worker and a great kid with a great attitude. He isn't likely to play, but you never know.
