Come on Trey!

You guys are nuts.
Galloway is a huge presence for this team. He was disappointing on the stat line but he didn't turn it over, he stayed aggressive to make defense persist (he guard him) which freed up his teammates, and he was the only sign of leadership on the floor tonight. He also made a huge bucket and freethrow in clutch time.
I'll take it. Cupps and Gunn too. They didn't turn it over much and kept the offense from being even worse.
In the media comments after the game Woodson was straight up asked about Gallo - agreed he has been tight this year but didn't seem concerned. Reminds me a little bit about how MM struggled earlier in the season - Gallo has done it before and he'll do it again, just has to get back in his groove. Dude is a baller and that's why he was in at the end (rightfully so).

No. That's trying to find something he did. What a reach.
No..it’s a fact. He’s not a good shooter. We all know that. He needs to provide leadership and defend…he did those two things last night. The way this team is structured the scoring needs to come from Ware, Reneau in the post and Mack needs to knock down shots from the outside. He’s getting better. Once he starts reacting to the defense instead of running to a spot…watch out. They need a shooting threat off the bench…Gunn provided that last night.

We are getting better.

Amen brother. Could not agree more.

He's not the leader. Malik and Ware want the ball. They are the alphas.
Malik is scaring me. He’s been very Bipolar so far this year.
(Let me clarify: he’s been on the positive, more than the negative side)

Meaning he has made the dumbest of mistakes in the first half…. But then shown his brilliance in the second half.

I’m hoping as the season moves forward… the brilliance continues to shine and the mistakes fade away.

Trey (and Cupps) also did a terrific job defensively against McDaniel and Burnett. Those two were averaging 30+ combined and were shut down almost completely last night.

Malik and Ware are a special tandem. Enjoy them while we can. Hopefully, their success will help influence Queen’s decision because Woodson will probably need to replace both after this season. The Peacock announcers said Ware, in particular, has NBA written all over him and that was before his last one-handed, sweeping hook shot, viewed as a thing of beauty…a joy forever, if you will.

Not sure why he takes the ball out vs. Full court pressure
