Come on Trey!

He's best as a 6th man, he's scrappy but in no way shape or form should he ever be asked to create offense.

He’s been bad . Maybe time to sit him
he should never be starter on a D-1 team - limited offensive skill and he is our starting 2 guard! Strictly a defensive role player. When is IU going to get some great shooters again? EG JAY EDWARDS, K, HASTEN, B EVANS, WITTMAN, KITCHELL,

He can't hit an open jumpshot. He never could. I like how he takes it to the hole but my lord, you're playing D1 college ball. Hit an open jumper....

Very true. But Calbert did so much more than shoot, I wouldn't label him the shooter Alford was.
Agree. He’s rarely mentioned as one of our elite shooters because he was the total package. But he could really stroke it. And had Ray Jackson, Chris Jent and the likes stuck to him the entire game. Jackson said guarding CC was like chasing a deer through the forest.

Come on Coach Woodson recruit some pure shooters. The game is close with Galloway shooting 3 for 19 from 3 the last few games. You make a couple shots this game is over! Now IU could lose at the buzzer

Oh NO!!! Brick Galloway to the line with seconds left. What is going on??? He can’t even make FT!!! Bricked first FT… dang!!!

If you're going to wax nostalgic for past players in your rant about how the present team sucks, at least give off a hint of credibility as a supposed long-time fan by spelling the last names of said legends correctly. It's Kitchel and Haston. Smh. Oh, and no list of past great shooters is complete without mentioning Tom Cloverdale!!!!

You can’t talk Kitchel without mentioning Steve Green.

Matt Roth could also light it up.

The thing with Trey is that he made a fair number of those open shots last year and a lot of us thought he’d turned the corner. He is capable of making them, but he apparently feels more pressure this year and he’s wilting under that instead of rising to the occasion. It’s 100% mental.

You guys are nuts.
Galloway is a huge presence for this team. He was disappointing on the stat line but he didn't turn it over, he stayed aggressive to make defense persist (he guard him) which freed up his teammates, and he was the only sign of leadership on the floor tonight. He also made a huge bucket and freethrow in clutch time.
I'll take it. Cupps and Gunn too. They didn't turn it over much and kept the offense from being even worse.

Galloway can't make a wide open shot. No one said he doesn't hustle, drive, etc....but the team needs outside shooting and Galloway is not a threat.

He's not the leader. Malik and Ware want the ball. They are the alphas.
