College football valuations

I didn't see this here. CNBC did a valuation on college football teams, and we are #28, worth $653 million. #1 is tO$U at $1.3 billion. Penn State is a little lower than I expected, other than that I don't see many surprises.

An Indiana University Columbus professor also did valuations, we are #33 at $386 million. In that one, the bucks are worth $1.9 billion.

It would be interesting to know how much Cignetti has changed our valuation.

Unless I’m misreading it, these are entire athletic dept values. They are using pre-Cig numbers for IU, we haven’t reported any financials that include Cig’s impact yet.
