Two things that are both sad and funny:
1. McCollum falls under the "most likely" candidates, while the Vandy coach falls under "long shots" because of his unproven track record against top tier D1 teams.
2. The top five under "long shots" are all long shots because of what many call baggage, yet they are probably the 5 best candidates in the entire article.
Hell just hire BB, he make the tournament about every 4 years on average. That seems about right for what IU wants lord knows they are not willing to take any chances (unless it is an unproven guy).
I realize these list mean nothing, but truthfully they are not that far off base and many like the one on this site are so depressing. Depressing that we can't attract a better name and depressing that when we do attract a decent coach the University gets all holier than thou and they fall under the "long shots" category.
