Coach Shannon Griffith in-depth on Spring camp

Coach Shannon Griffith points out that the backfield with Black, Hemby & Beebe Jr. might be as productive if not better than last yr. Plus he also feels the OL will be stronger also. If his forecast is true, Indiana will be a power in the B1G.

I like the rbs but Coyle kept stressing that the OL is better. Is it really?

It has the potential to be better.

Smith and Lynch back for another year under Bostad. Coogan should be just as good as Katic was last year, who was 3rd team all big 10 center by the media. Right tackle will probably have a battle between Michalski and Austin Barrett, who's been talked about the last couple seasons as someone the staff and Bostad likes. The last guard spot will be either Benson or if he's healthy, Drew Evans. If Evans can go and wins the spot, then is Benson looked at for RT.

The potential is definitely there. With Bostad in charge, history would say it's gonna be another good year for the line.

This team should have an excellent running game. There's at least 3 starters in Lynch, Coogan, and Smith who were starters on their respective playoff teams last year. That doesn't include Drew Evans who started for us before the injury.

This year's team should compete for the Big Ten title.
