Hometown – Beverly, Massachusetts (Brewster Academy)
Position – Forward
Height – 6-foot-6
Weight – 205
247 Sports Composite Rating – 4-star (No. 79)
Primary Competition – Miami, South Carolina, Butler, Florida, Texas A&M

Matt says:

“I’ve always been (an hard-nosed guy). That’s how I am and that’s how my family is,” Cross said. “I don’t want to go into a program just because it’s a big program if it’s not the way I play. I want to go somewhere I’m wanted just as much as I want to be there.”

“A lot of coaches see me as a mismatch position being able to take bigs off the dribble and smaller guys being able to shoot over the top of them.”

Timeline — Cross recently added Florida and Texas A&M into the mix. Visits to those schools appear to have pushed his decision making timeline into September.

I look at those other schools and just shake my head..
Facilities..History..Fanbase ..Whatever you can think of..Would have Indiana waaaaay in the lead..
I guess we loose the weather to all but Butler..
But kids today dont think like old Hoosier fans..

You are right about fans and history, but I'm not sure that IU's facilities really stand out in general. Perhaps they do vs. those particular schools, I don't know.
